quote:1000% I kept hoping the stars would align for a return. I began to doubt it would happen but so glad it did. His love of LSU was clear on his return press conference. The energy at his games round 1 were back to days of Shaq and C Jackson era. It was rocking.
prepeared for his return
McMahon games were like watching two 100 year olds try to frick. Slow, awkward and painful to watch.

I agree with you that most times the race card being used is absolute BS and IS a false narrative. I'm nowhere near a "race baiter." I just believe it applies here.
However (and I believe it's even an involuntary impulse), most people relate to their own race better than other races.
Think about it for a second: how many "I wonder if we can keep Max McKinnon" posts have you seen on the rant. Or "Max is my favorite player this year." It's not necessarily people being evil, it's who they relate to better. They want to see Max do well more than they want Dedan Thomas to.
I also believe there is a legitimate concern about LSU being a football and basketball school coming from the baseball crowd, and this causes them to be anti Wade.
Again, I believe 95% of LSU fans are thrilled with Wade's return. I was just opining on why we have the 5% that are IRRATIONALLY opposed to his return.
