Left Welter in as a starter way too long but other than that .......

Our defense has improved tremendously from the beginning of the season. Its really not even the same defense. Props to them and Chief...they had to carry a lot of water for this team because of the shortcomings of our offense.

true but the offense has also done a good job of at least eating clock, and giving them a rest.

Yep, Chavis turned it on this year when it was nut crunching time. Proud of the way the D handled adversity this year.

I know Les doesn't normally call plays on D and all that, but I can't help but think Welter was his doing. It's got Les written all over it. Loyal to a fault. Fans have been calling for Beckwith for a year+, no way Chavis didn't see that. Line up the players my arse...
