Remember guys we still have 9 games left. We will get better.

The second half showed me something. A Brian Kelly coached team would have got run out of the stadium. I still think this is a playoff team. We were on the ropes, and we fought back to get back into the game. Even though we lost that is something to build on. Don't throw away the season because of one loss on the road to the 9 ranked team in the country by a touchdown.

100% agree that this team actually showed fight to claw back and have a grasp at actually winning the game. A Kelly coached team would've layed down and quit. As mush as I have $hit on Leavitt (and deservedly so), kid showed a lot of grit to get the team back in the game.

I do think they get better as the season progresses. There are just so many new starters and it takes game time to build a cohesive unit. Schedule looks a lot tougher today than it did a few weeks ago though. O-line and QB need to figure it out sooner rather than later if they are to compete for a playoff spot

If we can get the win against A&M this week the schedule sets up well to allow the team to get better with a few less than powerhouse teams.
That will get us to Bama-Texas-Tennessee Gauntlet... we will be a completely different team by that point.

I know we all get caught up in the emotions of these games ,but it’s 3 games in LKs 1st season with 50 or more new players ,we have to be more patient.

You get mcneese which is easy but then you have at Kentucky and miss state. That ain’t easy by any means

Or we could just as easily get worse if guys lose faith in the process or if injuries keep piling up.
