With depth issues at cornerback and a log jam at wide receiver, it might be prudent to move a receiver to the defensive side of the ball. It worked out pretty well when Saban convinced Corey Webster to make the switch.

Damn that was a good move on the man from St James.

He had athleticism for every sport.

Move Trey Palmer there. Although he may not like to tackle. Sure is timid on offense.

Kirklin has gone back and forth but he was worse than Evans in the UCF game.

Raydar is listed in the box score but I don’t remember seeing him on the field

Or O needs to recruit better depth. We better get 2 CB’s in this class.

Didn't he intercept Brett Favre's last pass as a Packer?

With Stingley and Vincent on the roster, depth was not a major issue. I don't think O could have foreseen Vincent opting out or Stingley getting sick. He tried to scramble and replace Vincent with Evans.

Jack Hunt moved from WR to DB as well. Granted it was safety and he moved back to WR to catch the bluegrass miracle

Are you calling Jim Hawthorne a liar?

Moving a WR to DB during the season is pointless... thats a move you make during the offseason.

It’s a joke. The voice of the tigers at the time (Jim Hawthorne), was calling the game on the radio and when the pass was caught he exclaimed “touchdown, Jack Hunt!, Jack Hunt!” Even though it was clearly Devery Henderson. To be fair I think Henderson was #9 and Jack Hunt was #8, but Jack Hunt was also white so I’m not sure how he got that so confused.
