LSU fans have always been known to trash players, this is nothing new. Embarrassing yes, but nothing new

This Buckeye figured Haskins would start because he had the NFL arm but you're right, with Urban's love of the dual-threat QB, Joe was in the running. Fortunately, it worked out well for all involved.
Yes, I'd agree that Meyer preferred Burrow's skill-set, and Day preferred Haskins'.
NFL arm? Certainly Haskins can throw fast-balls. But how many NFL HOF QBs threw with touch instead, and rarely threw with heat? Unitas, Montana... I'd put Brady and Brees in the "touch" Category as well.
I also agree that it all worked out fairly well, but I believe Burrow would have found a way to beat that 7-loss Purdue team, - and would have gotten the Bucks to the playoffs.
[I also think it came as shock to Day that Haskins declared for the NFL. Day thought Haskins' would stay at least 2 seasons, maybe 3.]

This is a stupid argument. Just stop

Can’t speak for anyone else, but my beef with KJO is the fact that he still owes me some cash from the last bag I sold him

Apples and oranges.
There's only one starting quarterback but multiple DBs are on the field at a time. Joesph would have contributed if he stayed assuming he could stay ahead of the competition. It's not hard to assume that there is something else going on here.
Regardless, that's no reason to trash the kid but a relatively few folks have done that. Your either a Tiger or Tiger bait.
Additionally, Burrow was a graduate transfer with few years left to his eligibility, one of which would have been lost year sitting behind Haskins. Joseph has three years left.

This take is so way off. Really really bad comparison. You should be down-voted into oblivion.

Do you think OSU fans would love and cheer for Joe if he transferred to Michigan or Wisconsin?

and people like you love to trash LSU fans.
LSU is very good to support their players. See Devin White and spending money on him, so get real.

From a Buckeye fans perspective we as a fan base were split fairly evenly on the Burrow/Haskins debate. With most polls slightly favoring Burrow. We all knew that both would be exceptional QB’s. It was clearly a 1a and 1b situation. Unfortunately there was only one football and we all felt that we would lose one. Burrow didn’t have the luxury of waiting to see if a underclassman would beat him out in fall camp. We are all pulling for Burrow to be successful because he deserves it. These players only have 4 years of eligibility to show what the have to get to the next level. No one should fault any athlete for wanting a situation that they feel allows them to best showcase their talent.
So yes we felt like we were losing a starting quarterback. We felt like the guy who stayed was going to be just as good. I was definitely team Burrow but Haskins was great too. As a lifelong buckeye fan I can’t ever remember having 2 quarterbacks of that caliber at the same time. Don’t even say JT Barret, Braxton Miller, and Cardale Jones. They were marginal talent at best surrounded by top tier talent.

From previous posts, I see that you are BuckeyeJeaux’s alter
“I’ve watched every minute of football Joe Burrow has played”
“For the record after the Buckeye spring game 2 different Buckeye web sites ran polls for who should start. They were both identical 60% Burrow 30% Haskins and 10% Martell.”

It really is sickening the amount of hate coming from a plethora of adults towards a youth. The kid owes the fanbase nothing.

Huh? What are you talking about?

Maybe its just me but when Burrow became our starting QB I remember OSU fan actually being pretty supportive of him and were excited he was getting a chance to play somewhere.

Not trashing him. Just don't give a damn what he does from here on out.

Never seen so much hate for a kid transferring before the K. joseph cat. The kid is home grown, so what maybe he has some problems or growing up to do. Regardless is this teenage boy's life choices very maddening to some of you? Or am i just preceiving messages incorrectly? Lol
Disagree on many levels. Overwhelming majority OSU fans were extremely supportive of Burrow. Also Joe competed for years and was a role model for work ethic and being a team player. Joe left before his eligibility ran out to play and lead a team, but only after a tough competition with an extremely talented QB who was a first round pick.
Kelvin was here one year, played that year, made some mistakes as far as maturity goes, but has now elected to leave. Maybe it’s the competition coming in and Stingley passing him up. Maybe he wants to start for a team now. Whatever the reason his situation is not the same as Burrow was. Guy hasn’t been here long enough to put in the work that Burrow put in at OSU before leaving.

While I’m not that other guy I can verify that a lot of what he says is usually right. Sure he is way over the top about some shite but it’s usually at least close to accurate. Honestly he might be more accurate and less negative than your own fan base. I’m not saying he doesn’t take shite way too far but when it come to Joe and the Ohio State fan base he is usually right.
I also firmly stand behind everything I’ve said past and present. I don’t really have a reason or desire to lie to strangers on the internet. Ohio State fans would have been happy with either quarterback. We all thought they were both better than JT and even he wasn’t that bad.
