Regarding Thursday's big meeting

Want to know if judge favors the players are they able to play then? I figure sec will try to do something. But will that be breaking a court order and can get in trouble? Just asking

This may have been mentioned in the numerous threads about this subject but at this point why even play them regardless? These two players won’t make or break lsu football season

The bad guys can file an emergency motion for a stay, and would probably be able to get it heard early next week. They've had good luck so far getting it granted in other state cases.

Judge may rule in the players favor and I believe he will. But sounds like the SEC will try and enforce a punishment on LSU if they play them regardless of what the court says.
Then what?
My guess is LSU complies with the SEC, tells the players they can’t play them and then the players sue the ever loving shite out of the SEC and all the members who colluded (all 15 of them). Hence why LSU abstained on that vote.
These players lawyers are going to have a field day!

We know how the La DA feels about it

The judge is going to rule that any attempt by the SEC to penalize LSU for allowing players who are eligible to play to actually play is substantively violating his court order. So if the SEC takes any retributive action against LSU, LSU will not have to comply and may seek damages against the other 15 institutions for their illegal actions.
Of course, LSU risks being treated unfairly in the future by the SEC on things that have no bearing here. Expect the next schedule to have us playing Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Missouri and Florida, for example. We won't get Vandy, Kentucky, Arkansas or Mississippi State for years.
