Bama really took your balls, didn't they?

Saying we are an easy team to defend against good sec dlines is losing my balls? If our offense doesn't maintain possession of the ball our line doesn't wear down the opponent.

Also bama didn't even stack the box...Arky and Ole Miss will.

we also have the horses to beat the teams we lose to...just don't utilize them correctly

Especially since based on the personnel and formation the defense knows the play and where the runner is going.

LSU coaches have no idea what self scouting means

Our DC should be fired on the spot if he doesn't stack the box and play a version of man in the secondary. If Harris beats us...so beit

We are going to put up points against those teams. I am more concerned about whether we can stop Ole Miss' offense. The game this weekend is simply about whether we show up ready to play with intensity in a physical game after the disappointment last weekend. Nothing more...

I am sure he will. If he had the studs bama didn't it would make sense no to. I expect a tough, physical game.

combine that with arky coming in riding high and it makes for a tough game IMO...of course I am one that usually doesn't under estimate opponents. Except A&M

Considering only one SEC line has succeeded in doing so, I'd say yes, you have no balls.

I am concerned about the game, but I think we will handle them in Tiger Stadium. Ole Miss on the road is a legit toss-up (maybe worse). TAMU

This is per Phil Steele's composite rankings. Alabama -- 9, 7, 22, 16, 4, 2, 18 (avg: 11) Arkansas -- 189, 88, 18, 11, 67, 100, 106 (avg: 82). The idea that Arkansas can just "follow Bama's gameplan" and magically stop the run completely ignores the fact that there are starters on the Arkansas defense who wouldn't make Alabama's scout team

And yet LSU has had problems with the Arkansaw D line the last couple of years?

They both give up almost 40 points a game. Gd

particularly against passing teams...the 4 OT game with Auburn didn't help with that stat either

I wouldn't take them lightly, especially no 11 and no 18.

If they come out flat and play uninspired ball against Arky we will be 7-2, book it.

No. I am trying to say Arky & Ole Miss have legitimate dlines...unlike the previous teams on our schedule other than Florida.

The average PS rating of Mississippi State's front 7 was 74, slightly better than Arkansas (avg. 82). The average for So. Carolina was 87, so slightly worse. There is no support for the claim that Arkansas has this uniquely talented front seven compared to other teams we've played.

And this is all ignoring the fact that they have the inarguably, objectively worst secondary in the SEC. If they try to bring a safety into the box to stop the run, their corners will spend all evening grasping at air as 83 and 15 run flying past.

By this logic... Recruiting is all that matters... Don't buy that at all. Arkansas had the same recruiting disadvantage against us in last year's game. And Bama had the same recruiting advantage in last year's game. We had Bama beat in that one... Scheme is also sitting on the throne here. And I think you will see Arkansas shut down our O fairly well again.

And here's the Offensive scheme... Which works sometimes... just like every other teams schemes...
