What do Tigers have to finish to make the dance?

18-12?
17-13?

Opinions?

Currently. 11-7 (2-4 SEC)

Vs Texas A&M?
@ Auburn?
@ Tennessee?
Vs Arkansas?
@ Florida?
Vs Ole Miss?
@ Alabama?
Vs Mizzou?
Vs Vandy?
@ Georgia?
@ South Carolina?
Vs Miss. St.?

No chance.

Have to get to 11-7 in SEC play to have a good shot. Would still probably have to win a game in the SEC tournament at that point.

I think 10-8 in the SEC gets you in, but that means we have to go 8-4 the rest of the way. That's a TOUGH task with the depth and talent of the league. There are ZERO easy wins the rest of the way.

19-12 they will absolutely be in. 10-8 in SEC puts them at 19-11 heading into the conference tourney and a lock. 18-12 they would probably have to go 2-1 in the tourney to get in.

I think they finish

Vs Texas A&M- L
@ Auburn-L
@ Tennessee-W
Vs Arkansas-L
@ Florida-L
Vs Ole Miss-W
@ Alabama-L
Vs Mizzou-W
Vs Vandy-W
@ Georgia-L
@ South Carolina-W
Vs Miss. St- W

17-13 (8-10)

1-1 in SECt

5-7 seed in NIT

17-13? You can’t be serious. Probably don’t make the NIT at that

If you are expecting this team to make the NCAA tourney then you should just turn the games off the rest of the season and tune in next year.

@ThibTiger11.

A win today would turn that into 18-12 and go 2-1 in SEC tourney. I think we could be "last 4 in".

Dude this team is not going to sniff the tournament. You are setting yourself up to be disappointed.

A win today would be huge. Would set up a big opportunity to play a good Auburn team and pick up a resume building win. Also gets you back in the race at 13-7 (4-4)

No

I had them at 6-12 in conference to start the year. You can look through my post history I don't think I've ever bashed Wade or any of the players

That is fine. Usually the ones who are carrying on about making the NCAA tournament, are the same ones who kick and scream when this team loses is all.

Why is A&M projected to go? Similar record to the Tigers.

In recent history, it seems as though the SEC gets about 4-6 bids per year. It could fluctuate +/- 1 in some years.

I'm aware the current bracketology has the SEC getting 8 teams in. We'll see, that seems high even with the up year for the conf. I think LSU needs to finish top 6 in the SEC to get in.

You may be right, but if we can split the next 2, and A&M and Arky can pull it together, we'd have 4 really good wins on the resume.

7 more wins with our schedule would hopefully have us in the low 40s with some really good wins. If we can't win at least 7 more, no shot.

Shouldn't have lost to Georgia and Vandy if LSU wants to have a realistic shot.

RPI is 82 right now.

Their RPI is 32, bit no team finisbing last in the conference will ultimately make it. They need to get it together for 6 more wins.
