Just wondering if this was true for the other guys who transferred as well? The QB's were inaccurate. It's what the rant told me all week when when they mentioned stats. Don't start making excuses now. The QB's better show up before and stick around after practice throwing to receivers this week.

Imagine if LSU had some exciting success soon. There wouldn’t be anything to bash.
They’re probably just tired of the same old shite from this program.
I look forward to hearing the WRs look great. Kind of hard to praise them when you’re hearing how bad they looked two weeks before the season starts. That’s only assuming the OP is a credible witness of course.

Let it play out though, right?

Sorry but one glorified practice doesn’t dictate an entire season like people here want it to

Don’t worry. O said they are going to focus on catching the ball for the next two weeks

Well that’s a relief. O with some top notch coaching there.

You’re absolutely correct.

Have you heard any good news about the WRs?
We start in 14 days.
Those Miami DBs aren’t scrubs.

Say what you want about supposedly having the best receivers in the league they were horrible today.

I said it here before, but if the WRs are so good, why didn’t they play last year. We’re melting over Drake Davis and he has 4 career receptions.

Talk of camp before today was how impressive WRs were especially the freshmen.

Could there be a problem since the other 2 qbs left?

Are you insinuating the WRs are purposefully dropping balls because of the QB situation?!?!

What a fricking idiot...

If a receiver drops balls in practice, he doesn't play. That's all that leads to.

I’ve heard a lot about Chase. I’m excited to see him play. I wouldn’t worry about Giles.

Haven’t heard who the #2 WR is for sure. Jefferson was the last I heard.
And if we’re going 4 wide, who else has been stepping up?

Moreau will flex out alot when we go 4 wide. Otherwise, I don't think they're certain who the 4th receiver is. They're each built different, have a different set of skills, and are unproven even in camp. Sullivan, Anderson, Dillon, Davis. I think Marshall will get alot of snaps, though. Racey could be a pleasant surprise.

And there were at LEAST 10 drops right through their hands or in the chest and bounced off. Drive killing drops. Balls that would have been TDs. Brennan should have had 2 td passes that we’re dropped in the end zone and Burrow had one. Brennans INT was a ball right through the hands of the receiver.
They better get all the damn drops out of the way now; just get it out of their system.

This better not continue on into games.

I thought Sullivan was supposed to fix all the drop problems.

You realize our top receiver was held out today and our number 2 was limited because he's just coming back from injury, right?

I'm not disputing that wr play was bad today, but I don't think it necessarily means anything.

Oh, and also, a guy who was supposed to receive significant playing time was arrested last night.

Today's 15 completions were to 12 different receivers: 3 to Marshall, 2 to Moreau, and 1 each to 10 other receivers, plus Giles didn't scrimmage.

That means 8 drops were spread out over 12 receivers, most of whom are 2nd and 3rd string, and won't be seeing much playing time in a real game, but who do get attempts in a scrimmage.

These stats say next to nothing about how good the receivers are.

MRGeau, was the scrimmage situational or straight up a all out scrimmage?

Did you think the wrs looked lackluster because of how good the defense is?
