Screw your settle for mentality. I don't need to look at any other coach- the discussion was not about another coach. What a stupid, stupid dumb arse post

sorry but this is dumb as shite. I saw front end loaded. You played a perfect season two years ago and were a game away from another NC. Your QB lost that game last night. Not your coach. Want to feel like crap. Come to UF.

Kliff Kingsbury was and is the answer.

You really think we will only lose 2 games this year?
We're not talking about this season dumbass. I'm talking about the whole Les Miles tenure. Ever since he's been here, LSU has averaged 9-10 wins a year, with only 2, maybe 3 losses a season, with a national championship and winning 80% of it's games. The only other program that can say they accomplished more since 2005 would be Alabama, maybe Florida and maybe Oregon. Believe me I would love to win the national championship every year, but realistically, that ain't happening. But apparently, seems like to you we need to win the national championship every damn year, but if we don't, and go 10-2 or 9-3, you throw a fricking hissy fit and say stupid shite like LSU is in a decline, or Les Miles has overstayed his welcome. After reading your posts in this thread, I have come to the conclusion that you have no clue what you're talking about, and I'm sure most people would agree with me.

Pick another team. Nobody needs people like you around here, especially since you're a narcissist who thinks that your "mentality" affects anything at all. Seriously, please choose another team, and root for them. You are absolutely terrible.

NO, I do not expect a national title every year. I don't expect to win the SECW every year. I was perfectly OK with the loss to Georgia.
But what I am sick and tired of is that every year there is AT LEAST one game where the team jsut doesn't show up and loses to an inferior opponent. EVERY frickING YEAR.
The fact that Miles could not get this team ready for ole miss is beyond pathetic. Every goal we could possibly ask for was right there for the taking and he shite the bed AGAIN.

That said, it is not realistic to consider ourselves yearly NC contenders. Hell at this point I don't think we should even expect to yearly contend for an SEC West Division title.
These are basically the same thing.
This is another overdramatic reaction to losing a game that we had no business losing.

And in the coming years with the playoff, Miles will do just enough to make sure we consistently finish as the 5th team in the 4 team playoff.
:cryinglittelpussy:
We didn't want this to be the case, but this is obviously a rebuilding year on defense.

Ok NOW I agree with this part. You're right there's no excuse to lose to a depleted Ole Miss team.

OK, fine. We all knew that. That's why I was totally fine with the Georgia game.
But this late in the season that is not an excuse for losing to the team Ole Miss put on the field last night.
We didn't lose on a last second FG to Bama or aTm or Oregon or any other really good team.
We lost to a fricking MASH unit that tried everything they could possible do to give us the game and Miles said "No, thank you. You guys go ahead and take this game."
And he does this at least once a year.

We are on a decline, with another huge group of juniors heading to the nfl, and bama taking 2 potentially starting freshman from la (hootie is going to bama) if we dont close out this class....were going to be miserable for years to come

truly relevant? We won the SEC a couple of years ago, and played in the NC game. I'd say that's pretty relevant.

So you THINK we are IN decline? No real proof , just theoretical at this point. Got it.
Decline isn't always obvious. It doesn't become obvious until it is too late to reverse course. I'm not even sure what could be done if we knew. Can't fire the HC but we can get rid of the Chavis and take away Miles' authority to call plays.

We won the SEC that year only to be rewarded with a redo against Bama. Miles didn't have the team prepared and his coaching in that game was the very worst.
Had we lost to Bama in November 2011, LSU would not have played for the NC. It would have been Oklahoma State vs. Bama. Les would not have been on ESPN the morning of the SEC Championship game like Saban was, working to get his team a redo. The SEC headquarters in Alabama would have gone off on him if he had and said "you are hurting the SEC and the conference championship game." He wouldn't have done that anyway because he doesn't defend his team. Didn't after the win against the gumps November 2011. He defended his baby Jefferson but not the team that deserved better than what they got from him.

It's the same reason dude. Any time the offense on this team has an off night, you've got big problems. If our offense hand't shown up at Georgia, we would have lost by 20.

I don't think anyone is trying to say this wasn't a bad loss. It was a horrible loss...one of Miles' worst of his tenure here. That's a fact.
However, that doesn't mean the program is in a tailspin. It's not.
There are legit, tangible reasons we lost. It's not solely on Miles. Our defense is below average. Ole Miss almost gave us the game. It really wasn't that close. There is nothing Miles could do about that.
Consider this:
Georgia lost to Vandy...Vandy! Were there reasons? Absolutely. Should they have lost to Vandy? No.
A&M (with JFF) lost to Auburn. Were there reasons? Absolutely. Their defense is a dumpster fire. Should they have lost to Auburn? No.
USC lost to Tennessee. They had everything to play for. The East was in their grasp. Should they have lost that game? No.
Florida was destroyed by Missouri. Were there reasons? Absolutely. Florida was beaten up. But, they were soundly handled by a team that started a first time QB.
In other words, it happens. We shouldn't be happy about it, but we absolutely shouldn't go jump off the bridge.
Our offense sputtered. The passing game went to shite for about 2 1/2 quarters. That's the absolute strength of our team. We had multiple drives that looked like they were going to turn into points that didn't because we threw an int. And, Ole Miss built a lead. That's what happened.
Now, be prepared. In every game we play, we are going to have to win despite our weakness on defense. If we beat Bama, we are going to have to find a way to get them playing our game. If we can't find a way to protect Mettenberger and open the offense up, we'll get slaughtered.
Against A&M, we will literally need to score just about every time we have the ball. The good news is their defense is worse than ours. But, we won't be able to tackle Manziel, and our DBs have no idea yet how to play zone. So, he's going to make a lot of plays. A LOT. We may win, but it won't be a dominating victory.
And, of course, there is a chance we won't win.
But, it won't be a new story. It will be the same damn problem we've had all year. Our defense is going to struggle.

I don't care about Georgia, USCe, or Florida.
But since you brought it up, those losses are a lot better that what happened to LSU last night.
Georgia has been decimated by injury just as much as Ole Miss. Plus they are coached by Mark Richt, the SECE version of Les Miles.
Florida has injuries as well, plus they are just flat out terrible this year. And they lost to a legit team that is remains undefeated in the SEC.
USCe was overrated to begin with and lost to a UT team that is at least healthy.
LSU HAD NO BUSINESS LOSING TO THE TEAM OLE MISS OUT ON THE FIELD LAST NIGHT.
THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN.

Yes, I'm a moron because I should be happy our team lost to Ole Miss' back-ups and walk-ons, and our defense failed to show up to play the game.
