Weird considering you started thread titled "Wanting to Lose"

If we don't win out, I sure as hell don't want to go 10-2 to have Miles keep his job, so yes, I'd prefer to lose one or two more for the betterment of the program. It's called "filing for fan-krupsy". It's similar to rooting against your favorite NFL team once they're eliminated in order to get a better draft pick.

That's what is funny; he's the most successful LSU coach of all time and still under achieved just about every year. Though I love the fact we won the national championship with Miles; it is ridiculous how we backed into it. He

What kind of douchebag orders rings with "Second Place" on them? Those 2011 rings should be a testament to those young men who played one of the most dominating college football seasons ever, not a reminder that they were let down by their buffoon HC.

Please help educate me. Was LSU pulling in consistent top 3 recruiting classes pre-Saban pre-Miles?

LSU has had ridiculous amount of talent, and not much to show for.. and if an average coach like Miles can come in a transition well to an ESTABLISHED LSU.. imagine the possibilities with an above average coach.

Had Saban stayed, they would most like have the success Alabama is having, no?

Imagine what actual coaching could do with this type of talent. Surely at least be competitive in their own division again.. if nothing else..

LSU would have at least two more titles if Saban stayed, and that's a conservative guesstimate.

At what point in time are you going to start pulling for LSU to lose those two games for the betterment of the program? Will it be this week or will you wait until November?

2001 SEC Champion LSU was 5-3. Under Miles, we have finished 5-3 or better 9 times.

I honestly probably won't be able to. I've never been able to root against LSU. I just want Miles gone.

Saban had 2 SEC Titles and 2 Sugar Bowl wins in 5 years. Miles has 2 SEC Titles and 2 Sugar Bowl wins in 11 years. So if you go by hardware, then Les is no better than Saban despite coaching more than twice as many years and taking over a team in a hell of a lot better shape. Saban had 1 NC in 5 years, Miles got 1 in 11 years. Again, he doesn't have the most wins. Dietzel had 2 SEC Titles and 1 NC as well. So, I fail to see where Miles is the most overall success. Again, Miles tenure at LSU is a case study in wasted talent.

All of this..

I can't imagine LSU had this type of talent coming in before being established by Saban.. therefore it's silly to revert to the past to simply settle with the current. LSU recruits among the very best. Les is a great recruiter, but LSU as a winning program is a recruiting success.

FSU settled through mediocre years at the end of Bobby Bowden because he was a larger than life figure who had a ridiculous amount of program wins.. but he wasn't getting it done any more.. Fisher finally takes over and starts winning double digit games again and has them go 2 straight regular seasons as undefeated.. and spare me the conference they play in.. Bowden was losing 5 games in the same division..and Fisher immediately turned them back into a power.. FSU probably doesn't have that success had Bowden just kept coaching.. and who knows if they would have had more success sooner had he not stuck around so long.

LSU deserves better than not even competing in their own division any more.. We now have annual beat-downs from Arkansas, Alabama, and Ole Miss. Not just losses, completely embarrassments. We now lose half our bowl games. We now open up losing an OOC game. LSU under Les use to be great with preparation.. now he is stale and it's caught up to him.

The only time he halfway has a decent passing game is when he has a Senior QB.. and that's just sad in today's time. Miles should just recruit Junior College qbs since he cannot develop them or get them ready. They play too timid under him starting from day one..

It's also funny how Lesphiles always championed his bowl game record when it was 4-0 in his first 4 seasons, but since then, LSU is 3-4 in their last 7 bowl games.

DiNardo was 3-0
Saban was 3-2
Miles is now 7-4

So even that isn't a strength anymore.

Yep! And now they can't use "Les has never lost an out of conference regular season game" either. Their house of cards arguments are finally tumbling.

With Les Miles, it's more like what have you done for me lately kind of deal as opposed looking at the whole body of work.

Les Miles has turned this Ferrari into a Toyota Corolla.

He has not lost to the aggies while at LSU. Not sure(too lazy to look) if any other SEC west coach can say that. That should be bonus points.
