Realistically, who can we afford to fire?

Maybe the players who quit and left were the problem.

IMO, it’s not just about having the money.

It’s the bad look of spending the money at the present time when people within the athletic department are being laid off and salaries cut.

I don’t personally care about that, but these people are politicians at heart.

The governor may even get involved.

You could see Bill Johnson and Ensminger retire. I would be shocked if they pay off Pelini and Linehan.

Note: my phone keeps correcting “Pelini” to “Peking”

Linehan wouldn't be a big deal financially.

Auburn just lit $21 million on fire to dump Gus, so I think the perception issues with firing staff will be covered over pretty well. If any team is getting shot at this off-season, it’s them.
