I can't see us with more than a 25% chance based on our pitching situation. I'd put it closer to 10%.

Can anyone give a logical explanation of how this might go?

Barring us lighting up Singer, I can't see a path to victory. We can't hold them under 6 can we?

ETA, hoping someone can change my mind beyond "This is Omaha. We are LSU."

Goonies never say DIE, motherfricker! Neither do Tigers. They can only go RAWR! Then eat you.

What were the percentages of coming out of the losers bracket and beating OSU twice?

What were the percentages of Gilbert doing what he did?

What were the percentages of one player hitting home runs from both sides of the plate in the same game?

Well UFs hitting isn't great and they have a couple guys with injuries so it's better than you might think.

our bats are hot, their bats are not
they don't have Faedo pitching
Arkansas put 9 runs on singer in a couple of innings in the SECT
Russel Reynolds is a 5th year senior and our defense is outstanding

I would say it's better than a 25% chance lol

OSU pitching > Florida pitching (per era)

Plate discipline, quality swings.

If we don't walk batters, we have a shot. UF hasn't been an offensive power all year. All of their starters are studs though. Need to put pressure on him early.

On Tuesday I started a thread doubting we'd win any games against OSU and we won both. This thread is a great omen, baws. We got this.

The last time Florida scored more than 6 was against Marist in game 1 of the regional, and they've only scored more than 3 once in Omaha (5 against Louisville).
So yea, I think it's possible...
