Absolutely. I do believe that one can only truly and deeply change through a relationship with Christ, but I don't think that Jesus is needed to stop fondling girls in public and to stop being an overall idiot.

I've seen people get their head on straight for lots of reasons. Hopefully, that is what happened with Mettenberger. At any rate, people do change and he needs to be given a second chance. A starting QB for a team like LSU needs to be a leader if the team is going to win a championship. Hopefully, Mett can be that guy.

Exactly.

And you're talking about a sophmore with no starts. If he doesn't look like Joe Montana in the spring, I bet he doesn't get more than one series in the Oregon game.
