I really don’t know. We had really high expectations preseason but we never came close to fulfilling them. I guess I’d give him a C. He really couldn’t do much with the pitching staff that Pawl left him.

D. This team was way too talented to flame out like this.

Sounds like you had unrealistic expectations.

Blake Money was our opening day starter.

A perennial, but very good, bullpen arm was the teams ace. Let that sink in.

D. Shouldn't lose a regional after staring 2-0. Not saying we would have won it all, but we should be playing next weekend.

Arms were so bad, so I am giving him
at least a B.

I expect massive change in the pitching and will be happy to grade next season accordingly.

I would give him a B. He won 17 SEC games without one above average starting pitcher. LSU had to overachieve to be in the position it was in during this regional. Just couldn't finish it off. You can blame a lot of things...but when you have to score 10 runs a game to win, it puts too much stress on the batters.

B-. Would’ve been a B for me if he didn’t steal Bianco. That was a head scratching decision and something he hasn’t done all year. That’s worrisome to make a call like that in a serious game like this.

Not that impressed yet. We got to let him recruit first before we can judge him.
