That's what I thought as well but some article was released recently saying him and Melvin Jones are ineligible this upcoming season and plan to come back next season

This is the latest news on him. He probably has some stipulations to meet before re joining the team.

Prior to last season, I truly thought he was our most talented defensive back and provided the best defensive coverage of anyone on the team.

Ineligible? That's so damn stupid.

I really can't wait for the day that major CFB breaks away from the NCAA.

Both of you are right. He will be back in school this year at LSU but will try to be back on the team next year.

I think this kid is talented, but make no mistake about it, he is no Tre White. White just takes care of business and seems to be taken for granted. The only thing Robinson has over White is length.

White provided the best coverage on the secondary the most consistently all year once again. He is more dangerous with the ball in his hands than Robinson, has less missed assignments, and is significantly better versus the run. Add to that the fact he doesn't ever have personal fouls called versus him and has not once been suspended and I have a difficult time trying to understand why people think Robinson is better.

That being said, I'd like to have him get his business together because he could be a good player for us.

Carry on.
