No offense to Bert but Hodson should be #1. Damn shame when your best two QB’s played 46 years ago and 30 years ago.
Those two are 1-2 and then "Everybody Else" with a big gap to # 3.

All the Rant Geeknockers probably don't know that Tommy Hodson wasn't much bigger than Stringbean (Brennan) is right now. He was thin, but had a much better Offensive Line to protect him...……..

whomever did that list is an idiot since Mike Miley is not on it.
Don't be too angry.

DBs got away with murder back then, but some on this list with bad TD/INT ratios are very questionable. At least Miley had decent completion % and RAT.

I think Pat Lyons threw 3X more INTs than TDs and ranked above brother Paul.

all sec his last year here.
huh? The AP All-SEC QBs were Ben Leard and Rex Grossman.

Booty's stats his last year are below, and they're bad:

145-290
50.0%
2121
6.2 ypa
17 TD
15 INT
120.4 rating

Brennan's weight is just an excuse. Extra weight won't turn him into a great QB. All it will do is help protect him somewhat from pounding over the course of a long season of actual games.

But that doesn't have ANY effect on Brennan during the spring, when there's basically zero contact on QBs. He should've excelled, but didn't. Extra weight won't help that.

I'm guessing you've never seen his film because you just described Jamarcus.

That dude obviously had the biggest cannon of an arm, but he was smart in the pocket and was great at short to intermediate throws as we

Did you even watch the AU and UF games? A mobil aware QB or 1 that studies plays to adjust at the LOS wins both of those games. Tubbervillr flat out confused him. Yes the Refs screwed us, but the talent between LSU and AU was a mile wide. UF was a great team, but still didn’t have the level of talent LSU did.

Plus freaking people on here are just flat out stupid when comparing QBs.
How many first round picks he tossed to that year? Bowe was a toss it up and let him get it. Buster just ran under shite because he was that fricking good. What about LaFell? Hester and who was his RB? Was Early doucet on that team? What about oC? That guy could not hold a candle in accuracy with Jones. Jones would slaughter him in an QB competition and had every bit the arm he had. I witnessed it first hand. Jones had 1 good wide receiver. Coach Mac was all about run.

No one remembers him, but the worst LSU starting QB ever was Billy Ezell in 1963-64. He was the only option back then when Pat Screen went out with serious season ending injuries. He had a completion % of around 30 and threw more picks than completions each of those two seasons.

definitely remember him.
Pat Screen was the boss. Can you imagine our fans today if our QB was 7-10 for 82 yds?
