1. 2010 - My freshman year. This was the last year we saw much of Les' mad hatter magic
2. 2007 - Every game that year (even the 2 losses) were fun to watch
3. 2011 - Would be #1 if not for a certain night in January
4. 2006 - That Notre Dame beatdown was legit.
5. 2013 - First decent offense in 6 years. Mett is still one of my favorite Tigers.

Certainly one of my favorite LSU teams.
One of the greatest plays in Tiger history was the first play from scrimmage against Auburn. Conservative Cholly Mac called a half back pass. Completely fooled Auburn's all american safety - Hamilton wide open for a TD. As lagniappe George Bevan blocked the EP in the fourth quarter which would have tied the game.

1958 Tigers, defense was called the Chinese Bandits! National champs.!

Sometimes.
The starting unit was called the White Team and played most of the game on both offense and defense.
Substitution rules at that time said if a starter came out of the game, he could not come back in until the next quarter. Near the end of a quarter Dietzel would sometimes take the White Team out, and substitute the second unit, called the Go Team which were offensive specialists.
If the Go Team had to turn over the ball, and there was still time left in the quarter, he would send in the third stringers, defensive specialists who were called the Chinese Bandits. The Bandits actually got very little playing time in this system, but as LSU rose to #1 the Bandits captured the imagination of the country.

I loved the 2009 team that lost to Pedd State in the Citrus Bowl.
Chad Jones, PP7, Holliday, Brandon LaFell, Kelvin Shep. Charles Scott, and a bunch of guys who would dominate in 2011 (Minter, Ridley, etc.)

1982 LSU team with Dalton Hilliard at RB. Still one of my favorite all time players. Actually reminds me a lot of CEH; except Hilliard got up off the ground very slowly. He and Earl Campbell used to get off the ground sooo slow you were sure they were injured. Hilliard slippery as a greased pig.

Havent seen it mentioned yet but the 2005 team will always be special to me for all the shite they had to fight through with Katrina that year. That was an immensely talented team that absolutely blew the doors off of miami with our backup QB when we finally had a chance to get some rest.

The 1969 team should have played for the national championship.
Archie’s heroics at home led Ole Miss to a 26-23 win, spoiling the chance for a perfect regular season and a spot in the title tilt.
That squad led the country in rush defense, giving up a paltry 37 yds a game.

Shoutout to the 1995 team. They were only 7-4-1 but it came after 6 losing seasons and introduced us to guys like Kevin faulk and booger McFarland. This team will always have a special place in my heart as that was the team that set the hook on me becoming a fanatic at the age of 14. I have loved LSU football ever since. Who can forget “bring back the magic” and beating auburn after that horrible game a year before or blowing out lil Nicky and Michigan state in the independence bowl!

1. 2001 Davey/Reed//clayton/royal, Davis/toefield, what a loaded team.
2. 2011 Mathieu and the defense
3. 2019 burrow we finally got a QB took almost 2 decades.
4. 1997 I'll go to my first year I went to some games and actively followed
5. 2003
The stretch from 2000-2011 was amazing but also very frustrating
