Fitzgerald has to be ranked higher than 6th. Imo,I would put him 2nd.. Also,Tua played 1 half of football lol. How can you have him so high? I like Ta'amu. Think he's very talented.

I'm a stat guy so first statistical

Tua Tagovailoa - 3650 pass yards 30 td 450 rush yards 10 td in 15 games
Nick Fitzgerald - 3100 pass yards 27 td 950 rush yards 13 TD in 13 games
Jordan Ta'amu - 3600 pass yards 27 td 350 rush yards 7 td in 12 games
Malik Rosier - 3200 pass yards 28 td 350 rush yards 7 td in 13 games
Jarrett Stidham - 3300 pass yards 25 td 200 rush yards 3 td in 13 games
Jake Fromm - 3100 pass yards 26 td 2 rush td in 14 games

Some Notes:

There are no guarantees any of the others start or are even good enough to play out more than half the year. Mond at TAMU, Emory at UF, and Story at Arky won't go down easily and any could be the day one starter.

Regardless of what people say, Rosier played pretty good until the last two games. He had 2800 pass yards 25 TDs to 9 ints and 400 rush yards 5 tds. Cmp% left something to be desired, but the guy was very productive averaging 290 total yards and almost 3 TDs per game before the last two games. Mark Richt will get him straight, hopefully it's after our game.

I believe next year is the year of the QB in the SEC like it was in 2013, but way better. I can't remember the last time the league was stacked with this much QB talent. LSU will play at least 6 3000 yard passers, 5 just from the SEC.

Based on offense ran, talent around the QB, when (meaning earlier or later part of the year) and where the game takes place, this is how I see them vs us this year.

Fitzgerald/Tua - Can't decide on #1. Fitzgerald will be a stat machine and will be a lot better passer thanks to Moorhead. Spoiler: I have Tua as my best QB in the SEC based on his talent alone. With the group he has at WR, that OL and those RBs, that team is going to be ridiculous.
Stidham - Auburn is loaded at WR as the top 5 return for a team that will have to rely on it a lot more. Game is at Auburn and it's the 3rd game of the season. Revenge factor for last year.
Ta'amu - He makes it here based on his talent the type of offense they run, the ridiculous WR talent they have, and the fact that this team will have to score 30+ a game to even have a shot of winning most SEC games next year. I would put Ole Miss's top 3 WRs up against any group in the country.
Fromm - Regardless of what LSU fans think, UGA is a loaded group and especially on offense. Fromm is already great himself and he has two former #1 athletes at WR and a 5 star TE. His OL is loaded with talent along with the rest of his receiving Corp and his ridiculous RB unit (Bama isn't the only school with two 5 star RBs, plus they have a top 3 RB and a top 6 RB).
Rosier - First game of the year and neutral site. LSU's defense should be enough to make him look like crap game one, but I expect him to be a lot better later on in the year.

Last but not least, who I believe is the best QB we'll face based purely on their own skill, not offense or talent around them.

Tua Tagovailoa
Jake Fromm
Jarrett Stidham
Jordan Ta'amu
Nick Fitzgerald
Malik Rosier

Tua that high, based on one half of a football game?

See this is why people laugh at us. Y'all seriously don't watch enough of other teams. Tua that whole season looked like a way better passer than Hurts every time he stepped on the field. I mean the guy was considered the 3rd best QB coming out, a 5 star, and he proved it as a true freshman to anybody paying attention. When I saw his tape after his junior year, I thought he was the best QB in his class. There is a reason why he is high on heisman boards.

Then you have to factor in what's around him. My God I wish we had a legit chance to land his brother.

Not a chance in hell. You think Moorhead will develop him better than Mullen? Get the frick out of here with that shite.

Have you seen his stats?

Yes I have and a 50% completion ratio does not worry me at all.

You are way overhyping him based on last years game against us.

He looked like shite against Bama, Georgia, Auburn, and wasn’t looking too good against Ole Miss while he was in there.

Fitz is just not a good QB. He’s a glorified fullback at best.

Agree with most of your list except rozier should be lower(9th) and Fitzgerald a little higher(4th)

2. Tua Tagovailoa

I think Tua is in for a rude awakening as time moves on during the season, If I'm Hurts, I would not buy an open ended ticket

6. Nick Fitzgerald

When healthy he's as dangerous a QB as there is in college football....smart too

I’m pretty sure I made it obvious I am not. I mentioned his two seasons and overall play.
Has nothing to do with the game vs LSU.

You lost all credibility with this statement.
I’m not sure who would listen to you evaluate talent, ever again.

I think basically they can be divided into 4 groups:

The elite: Tua

The top tier: Fromm, Fitz, and Stidham.

The rest: Rozier, Ta'amu, Kelly, Stargell

The bottom: Franks

Show me his stats where I’m wrong. He has a 50% completion ratio. That’s worse than Brandon Harris had. He’s just a big guy that can run. Sure. He has arm strength. But if you can’t hit a receiver in stride, arm strength means nothing.

I know good QBs when I see them and Fitz is just not a good QB. He will never see significant play time as a QB in the NFL. Bank on that.
