I can read no need to protect your boyfriend. He said it was almost a wash. Corbin record is better in every aspect except post season that it's almost a wash. Almost a wash means Corbin is better but Paul is very very close. Meaning Paul isn't #1.

Hahahahahahahahahaha you are so stupid that you just agreed with everyone yall are bashing and calling trolls. So Corbin record is better than Paul's and you admit Corbin recruits better than Paul. But Paul Is #1........now that I've proved your point is dumb call me a troll and make a jr high remark then scurry back into your cave in never never land.

Lol he's not #1. He does have one Natty, but he can thank Les for that. Without the players Les recruited to play football no way he wins the one he has.
So according to this logic, can Dinardo get credit for a national title because Jeremy Witten played football too?

No if you read I never once said Les claims anything I said he could thank Les for the players he recruited to LSU to play football that ended up being a 1st round Draft pick.

First of all I never called you a troll. You need to learn who the hell you are replying too.
Secondly there are a lot of things that go into being a good head coach. Frankly the top 4 or 5 in the SEC are all very close right now. They all have some good points and they all have some flaws. And I have yet to see you anywhere in this thread tell us who you think the best is and why. So why don't you bring something to this discussion instead of just pissing on our own coach.

That's not what he said at all. He said Corbin has more SEC Titles than Mainieri. Corbin 3, Mainieri 2.
Corbin has a career .613 coaching record. Mainieri .654.
Corbin has a total of 3 conference titles (all SEC). Mainieri has 6 (4 from Big East).
Corbin has 1 conference tournament championship. Mainieri has 9 (5 Big East, 4 SEC).
Corbin has been to the postseason 9 times. Mainieri 14.
Corbin has been to the CWS 1 time. Mainieri 4.
Corbin has zero national titles. Mainieri 1.

If you could read I never pissed on our coach. I said he wasn't #1 then gave my reasons why. Then I was jumped on and called an idiot and troll.

How many troll accounts do you have?
Paul Mainieri is the best coach in the SEC because of his wins, ability to recruit, game management, and several well timed mid-season lineup shakeups such as the one in '09. Paul is an excellent tournament coach, and he does a good job of adjusting to changes in the game like the difference in the bats. The two coaches that you could argue are as good as him are Corbin, who doesn't have the post-season success of Mainieri, and Tanner, who was in my opinion a better coach but he is an AD now.
It doesn't matter what any of us say. You are going to disagree and troll. If I weren't on my phone I would post a bunch of statistics supporting my argument.

Really because I quoted him pretty much word for word. And why are you bringing up Big East crap to boost your pauls stats when the op said SEC. Should we bring up all their high school records too??
Posted on 4/26/14 at 4:27 pm to Liberty tiger13
Fine you think he isn't number 1 the who is? I'll wait.

Are we not debating who the best coaches are? Why should their past coaching not be included? Steve Spurrier's days at Florida still jump him to the top of the football coaches.
ETA: You complain that Mainieri isn't a good game manager, yet I've just outlined his amazing success in postseason tournaments. Don't you think that in the postseason with elimination is at stake, the game managing is at an all time high level of importance?

Everything you say is opinion. Ability to recruit lol. A mid season line up change just means you screwed it up in the beginning a make up call. Excellent tournament coach and makes adjustments to bats?? Ever heard of 2 and barbque? And adjustments to new bats? Our batting average as a team says hi. And it doesn't matter what anyone says yall unicorn chasers will never agree. So what is your point?? Your opinion is different and better than mine? Or since our opinions are different I have troll accounts.

Does it matter it'll be my opinion and all you Paul lovers will just call me a troll. Really what's the point.

Everything I just listed is not opinion. It's fact.
Our team batting average is .272. The 3rd best in the SEC is only at .288. Not to mention last year we batted over .300.
We are 4th in ERA and 3rd in fielding. Also, we are 2nd in runs scored which is more important than batting average.

You have to get to Omaha in order to go 2 and q.
Who is better than him in the sec?
How many times has Vanderbilt been to omaha?
What about olé miss with bianco?
Florida?
Arky?
Miss state?

That's exactly the answer I expected.

No. I called you a troll because you are a troll. Who is the best coach in the sec if it isn't Mainieri. Corbin? Van Horn? When was the last time any of them won a NC? Oh wait. I forgot. Les didn't recruit any football players for their teams.
Tanner only won his national championships because of Spurrier.

Now you are beginning to understand. Making mid-thread adjustments is critical to being a better poster just like Manieri's game and mid-season adjustments

When tanner left, Paul became the best in the league and I'm not a cpm ball sucker.
There is absolutely no argument to say otherwise with any evidence to support it.
The team this year has been very poor at the plate but somehow we are still in excellent position to win the league.

Using stats yes Paul is hard to deny. But Miles has awesome stats also but would you say and call people trolls if someone said miles was the best coach In SEC.
