I actually give the LSU coaching staff a LOT of credit for making the necessary adjustments and keeping the players in the game.

And rightfully so. O was/is the head coach and deserves credit for nice wins and blame for bad losses. You'd think that would be an easier concept for certain people to grasp.

it's also Miles's fault too.

Damn Les! Did you know he was behind against a Sun Belt Conference team? So, that's as bad as losing to one.

O did in five games what the last staff NEVER did in eleven years. Lose to a non power five team. Great hire Alleva! We ain't coming. We are sliding down hill.

So you're of the opinion that Auburn played no part in their own demise?? IT was all O?

Agreed. I was simply arguing the point that O had the team ready to play that game. They came out ultra conservative on both sides of the ball and got their teeth kicked in.

I was speaking in the simplest sense imaginable. A head coach gets credit for his team's big wins and blame for its bad losses. Of course what the other team does or doesn't do is also a factor. Auburn played very poorly in the 2nd half and also seemed to forget that Keion Johnson exists and that he went ham in the 1st half. Nevertheless, I give credit to O, the staff and the players for fighting back and beating a good Auburn team.

Auburn beat Alabama.

You don't beat upper echelon sec teams by "luck"

O had his team ready to play and we beat them. GTF over it.

Any SEC team can beat another SEC team once.

Whether you can do it again and again determines who's lucky and who's legit.

Les Miles team was down 30 to Troy just couple years ago. In the 3rd quarter.

By grace of God and some miracle and of course Jarrett Lee we somehow won.

A Les Miles coached LSU team mounts a comeback. Luck.

A Ed Orgeron coached LSU team mounts a comeback. Not Luck. Pure coaching skill.

Makes sense.

LOL

You're comparing a 30 pt comeback in second half to a first quarter 20 point deficit.

One was luck.... Troy
Other was playing 4 quarters .... Auburn

Geees really?

You really can't see the difference?

Put it to you I simpleton terms.
Start if the 4th quarter vs Troy there may been 25k left watching
Start of 4th vs auburn it was damn near still full, not to mention it was 116 degrees

Admit you are wrong and stupid and move on.

Wtf does that have to do with what happened on the football field? It scares me that you're actually serious.

You keep making that comeback VS Auburn easier. Not harder. Both took some luck but also both took a team scoring points and playing hard.

Don’t forget we won that game based on a punt return and a shaky kicker.

There was at least a little bit of luck. It’s not like Chark was returning a punt every game.

Well considering how infrequently some of those plays happen. I would Say some luck is necessary. Although I think All punt returns are sorta luck based outside like Devin heater and maybe PP7 who were doing that shitnall the time.
