I don't understand your post? I already stated that I wanted the Gator because I will essentially be in Jacksonville on Jan 1 anyways. Reading goes a long way.

Iowa's a competitive team, kinda like it. Game will win the uniforms prize. Like their uniforms, hope we use the purps.

You're dealing with LSU fans here.
I was actually a little torn because I don't like LSU getting passed up, especially if it's by TAMU after we thumped them and have the better record. But the allure of playing Michigan > playing friggin Iowa. There is zero benefit to playing Iowa.
And I didn't even think about this, but right now, I'm working in got dam ANN ARBOR MICHIGAN, hotel about 6 blocks from the Big House. Can you imagine the fun I could have wearing my LSU hat all over this place for the next couple weeks before I get released?? Now I really AM pissed lol.

Jesus our fans bitch about anything...and a huge portion of them evidently think a Gator Bowl draw against a 7-5 Michigan team is somehow better than the Outback Bowl.
The Outback Bowl is a fair pick for how our season went...which is as much as you can ask for.

I would rather play michigan too but it really doesnt make any difference what bowl or who we play. What is important is that LSU actually shows up for their bowl game unlike the last 2 years.

If you ask most of the country if they had the choice of watching an LSU game or a Michigan game, they'd say Michigan game
My take is this: I'd rather play Michigan, but ONLY in the Outback. I don't think we should whore ourselves out to a shittier bowl game to give TV executives what they want.
