I mean only 500+ yards of offense? Come on man!!
People love to throw this number around today, it's a house being built by bricks that are as thin as playing cards(my cousin vinny shoutout)

Why are people so hung up on this number, it doesnt mean dick. Last night was about execution, not stats. Would you rather them run every play of the game or get Mett some valuable experience?

it's not that, he just didn't throw a bunch of bombs, and is therefore inexperienced...come on man, it's all about 1/9

Screw off. That was mostly the same old shite. This could have been used as practice so we threw horizontal passes 8-10 times if not more as JJ did on jan 9. Every team runs slants, bubbles, posts, wheel routs, fly patterns, etc... Why hide the basics...Practice this shite and dominate ALL!!!

You people are fricking infantile. That was one game
Yet it was the same offense we have seen the past couple of years. There are multiple formations, personnel packages and routes that could take advantage of the cushion they were giving. Anytime we are given a cushion should we just try and bubble screen it down the field?

Repeating the wr screen 15 times really got him so experience.

Run every play. Have you ever heard Mett speak? Have you seen the way he acts? He doesn't need much more confidence, but he could possibly lose a whole lot.

lol, it is when the playcalling is the exact same...but whatever, mintberry is a self-proclaimed expert in gameplans and he says we're all idiots

Which is in the past.
It's all about this season.

By your line of thinking game reps are unimportant?

I saw quite a few plays called, and executed, last night that weren't on 1/9. Of course I realize we need a Mike Leach offense bad if we're ever going to beat Bama again

Yet our offense looked the same as last season. Run heavy with passing to keep a team honest.

Shouldn't we force a 1st time starting QB to throw deeper at dbs playing 5-10 yds off our WRs at the LOS?

The pump fake off the bubble screen was a new wrinkle, I'll admit

Ok I'll give you the nudge. Mintberry is is a self proclaimed expert.
Ummm just so I can keep score exactly who proclaimed YOU an expert.
I'll hang up and listen.

"We will continue to take what the defense gives us - against better teams it will be alot less and we will expand our gameplans."
That's an extremely big stretch right there, one that has been made for 4 years and hasn't come true yet. That's why some are mad.

and he got plenty last night....managing the game, flow, timing, cadence, rhythm, etc., etc. are just as critical as throwing 5 more intermediate/deep routes than he actually threw.

Here is a quote from dingleberry on page 1
quote:
No, that's when we impose our will on them. Similar to what we did tonight in the running game. We could have thrown the ball down the field 60 times and some of you would still be bitching.
Last night we saw our gameplan for North Texas, not for the season.
It's only what I do for a living, but you guys are right, you probably all know more football strategy than I do.
Are you his brawd?
