Quit blaming JJ. He played to his ability and just played what was given to him

Our coaching staff and game plan put him in some bad situations. Bama had 18 guys at the line of scrimmage and knew how to play him. We knew his abilities going in.

If you can't place some of the responsibility on the guy who touched the ball every single snap on an offense that put up 92 total yards in a championship game, then you are mistaken.

He has the ability to not run the option like a retard.

Again with the JJ not responsible for his play! The reason he was in bad spots was because he kept fumbling the ball and not making plays! No coach can put a qb in a good spot if the qb cant make a play!

This doesn't make sense.. they had to the option sniffed out the entire game..

What did you want him to do? There was NO WHERE to go.

JJ is what he is, Miles mistake was deciding to live and die with JJ. It's the coaching staff's fault he was playing, not JJ's.

We knew he wasn't a good QB going in. Why is everyone so surprised?

He was flat out scared to throw downfield. he immediately checked down to RB's out of the backfield on plays with deep route options. He was utterly incompetent.

You're right. Damn.

It's just a coincidence that we were undefeated with JLee every game he started. Good coaching move by Les to stick with JJ.

I agree, we new he was terrible qb before this game. The first half of the SECCG showed that.

That's why the playcalling was so limited

Why can't people understand that simple fact???

Jefferson changed the play at the line the majority of the game....

Jefferson -- 14 carries
rest of LSU RB's - 13 carries

I don't blame him. He was never a All American QB, and we shouldn't have expected him to play like one. He has played about the same for the past four years with little-to-no improvement.

I'll quit blaming JJ when he quits blaming other players for his mistakes.

"He played to his ability"

You got that right. 2nd worst QB in the history of LSU football and I have seen them all in person since 1957.

And bobbling 2 snaps from center....and throwing an underhanded interception, then blame the running back...and missing a wide open receiver.

Thank you. JJ should not be getting the blame despite his errors. These were strategic mistakes made by the coaching staff.

Just a casual observer could tell that JJ was nervous and our offense was predictable. Coach should have known to mix it up.
