Is there any talk about how Holgerson appeared on TV last night throughout the game? Has anyone asked him to explain what was making him so angry/ why he believed LSU was faking injuries? etc...

I am asking because I can't remember the last time where a coach was getting as much air time ONLY because the tv station wanted to catch the coach cursing and carrying on on the sideline. I know that he was thinking that people were "faking" injuries, but the optics of it looked terrible. As it turned out, he was wrong. It got to the point, where the cameras showed him between every play at points.

I know this thread will likely turn into a "flame off", but I am seriously interested to know what the West Virginia media, school officials, fans, etc. are saying about it. Did anyone ask him about that during his press conference?

I asked if he was asked about it in an interview or if it came up in a newspaper article or if there is more information in West Virginia other than what I saw on TV during the game and the dumb bullshite everyone is posting today. Basically, I was asking if he addressed it publicly. I get tired of reading flame after flame, so I wanted to ask if there was an interview/article about it where he addressed it. Finally, frick YOU!

You're not going to find many Eer's who disliked it. It's a refreshing fire that we haven't seen in a coach in 3 years. Previously Stew would have been out in center field holding the players hand and telling him he was going to call their parents. So to see the opposite is going to please a lot of fans. It's not to say it's a good thing, it's just different, and right now we like different. I'm a big hockey fan, and it's like this. For years there was a team that was soft, pushed around, just out played physically, they would just get abused. So they go out in the off season and pick up an enforcer, a tough guy who's reputation is to move bodies, his first shift on the ice he goes out there and he just crushes a guy into the boards. Now it's a cross check, and crazy dirty, but the fans cheer, why? Well they're just glad to see they're not going to be pushed around again. Opposing fans might ask "Why would you cheer such a dirty play" but it's kind of the message behind the play they're cheering. I don't know, that's just the way things work.

Maybe he just got caught in the moment during the game. Sure gives credit where it was due.
