no he didn't
He made one start his entire freshman season and only pitched 12 innings. Ryan Verdugo was our Friday night starter in 2008. The rest of the rotation was Blake Martin and Jared Bradford (if he didn't pitch long relief in another game)

A lot of Skenes’ development came when he focused on pitching only. His words. The guy that helped him is no longer around. I would imagine there will be some staff turnover.
