I could not tell from the views that they showed on TV, but after the game was well in hand which was clearly by the beginning of the 4th quarter, Did the State fans make a mass exodus for the gates to beat traffic and get back to the RVs for tailgating. Curious as I could not tell from the TV views. TIA.

Comparing ourselves to State fans? lol Difference being they never win shite. 23-3 in the last 26 yrs, I guess so they stayed.

Are you implying that if LSU were up say 20 plus on Alabama we would leave? C'mon man MSU wasnt playing Chattanooga.

No, they all stayed till the end for the most part. And rang those bells almost nonstop.

Thanks for the answers and insight and to the poster above you. I'm not complaining about leaving a Chatanooga game early. I 'm just wondering if the State fans left an SEC game. I know in the past on a few occassions, that Tiger stadium has emptied during a blowout SEC game.

Most of the stadium was there to celebrate with our team. Also to boo the tigers one last time.

Can't blame you for that but I don't think the booing was necessary, Just cheer your team on.

Are you implying that if we were up 17-7 to Bama at half fans wouldn't leave at half?

That was my first trip there. The cowbells are the worst thing I've ever heard. My ears are still ringing from that crap. It is blatant cheating. When they aren't ringing the bells you can hear a mouse fart on the field. I can't believe they still let them do that. I will NEVER go back there just because of the damn bells.

Upper deck thinned quickly at the end of the third.

Seemed to me the NCAA banned artificial noisemakers at games. How do they get away with those cowbells?

They can't ring once the center puts his hand on the ball I think is the rule. However they can ring in the huddle ring while walking up to the line etc, and if it's a big third down they just don't stop ringing. It really blew my mind that the NCAA lets them do that

I stayed til well past 00:00; our shuttle back to Old Waverly was running late. The Moo St fans stayed until the end for the most part. They have a very fun Stadium atmosphere.
