Seems like a guy who is just "that awesome" should be able to take care of business the first time, no? After all, isn't that what CFB is supposed to be about? Every game counts? That shite..
It also seems that the "far superior coach" would be able to finish out the season strong with a month off, the school's first undefeated record since 1958, and the big game an hour away from the practice field.

but the superior coach is saban. i dont think anyne is arguing that.

But we dont have saban and never will again. So id take the guy that has proven to beat and get under the skin of the best since its obvious no one else can do it.

If Lesron "almost" got us to Atlanta...Saban does it blind folded while signaling with his off hand.

Could Saban win the NC with 2012 LSU team?

No. Coaching doesn't win games, only the players win games......

For all you Saban-people, did you see his loss to aTm? Got the ball inside the 10 and decides to throw 3 times when Lacy can't be stopped and ends up throwing an int to lose the game. That strategy sounds pretty familiar. What about against UGA in the SECCG when they are driving at the end of the half and get no points and take timeouts into the locker room?

Now, I didn't watch every game that Saban coached this year, but I did watch the LSU game, aTm, UGA, and ND games. His team got outcoached in the second half by LSU. LSU made adjustments on offense and dominated the entire second half until "the drive". Bama decided not to follow the blueprint Florida and LSU had for beating aTm and decided to go 4 down linemen allowing Manziel to hit the gaps and then took the ball out of the OL and RB's hands to let McCarron lose the game for them when they could've easily won with the run game. Against UGA they had a big screwup before half where they failed to get points in a tight ballgame and took timeouts into the lockerroom with poor clock management. It didn't cost them the game, but it could've if UGA had about 30 more seconds. So out of 4 games, I watched, 3 were close and all 3 had coaching screw-ups by Alabama's staff. Our staff obviously isn't perfect, but neither is theirs.
