Question concerning split BCSNC.....

We take care of business against GA, we go into the NC against Bama. If(big IF) we drop a close one to Bama , I think our win @ the SEC championship and our win @ Bama would at least deserve a split....

I dont see how after the bullshite split title with USC and LSU fan would want that.

Despite the fact that it would really suck for us, Bama would be the national champion by virtue of winning the BCSCG. LSU's win over Bama on November 5th would be rendered meaningless.
This has happened once before, in 1996 I think. Florida State beat Florida during the regular season but lost the rematch in the championship game. UF was crowned national champs and FSU did not get a share of the title.

the idea that we could even have a split is a huge argument to put OSU in the title game that I haven't seen discussed enough

Yes, BCS is about opinion, not playing it off. In this case each team would have beaten the other once and they will have the same records (actually LSU has better resume). So, in the opinion of many people it is a split whether you get crystal ball or not.

If we have a split title we can no longer protest at USC's claim

Splits are impossible with the BCS system. There has never been a split with the BCS system and there never will be a split.
I understand where you were going with the split talk and all I can offer is that we already beat them so they shouldn't be allowed to play for the championship. But there is no such rule, although there should be.

Its not a split bcs title.
LSU won the BCS
USC won the AP
its not split just two different titles... one alot more meaningful than the other
