Kelly has not stated at all that there is a front runner for the QB position.
Kelly doesn't owe anybody explanation 6 days into camp. You've watched the same practice clips as the rest of us. Who have you seen taking the 1st team reps at QB in the limited videos? What have you been reading from the media that's been at practice? All signs point to Nuss and Daniels.

So the QB they have been around the most, and are maybe closest friends with vouche for him.
Trust/Comradarie is necessary. So building a rapport, being a good teammate, leader, and friend is detrimental now?
Damned if Nuss do, damned if he dont... right?

This is my issue. He’s not the only answer. To pretend like Brennan and Daniels don’t have talent to their name is dishonest, and I feel like certain people don’t want a dialogue that involves the other two QBs. I want whoever wins the job to get it. If that’s Nuss, cool. If it’s Brennan or Daniels, cool. I’m not losing sleep over it because I don’t have an ounce of skin in the game.
I agree with all this but would add that it applies to all three QBs. There are posters here who are clearly favoring one QB over the others for whatever reason and shoot down any discussion that would suggest their pick isn’t the guy.

Yes, I should’ve stated that. I don’t know why people need to stake their name on one of these guys like their street cred depends on it. One of these three will win it. That should be good enough for everyone here. That was my point; all are capable players.

This is a very hypocritical post
Yep, but they refuse to see it. Discredit the numbers that work against their argument and prop up things they want to believe.

Did I say that he did? I was replying to someone that based his opinion on Nuss being the guy because of what coaches said. I simply pointed out that the coaches said NOTHING about who is starting.

That is a few second clip in hours worth of practice. We have no clue what's going on the rest of practice.

Again, they are there for a very short period of time and see only what the coaches want them to see.

I actually wanted Nuss to start last year. I knew the season was doomed, and I didn't think Max Johnson was very good. I wanted to get Nuss some serious action. I hope that Nuss wins the job, but I'm also not going to sit here and make stuff up just to fit that agenda like some on here are doing.

It’s pretty hilarious to see people try to act like there is no reason to be high on Nuss. I’m willing to bet the same people think Brennan would throw for 4K yards because 2 years ago he lit up Vandy and Mizzou at a time where our offense was allergic to running the ball.
Ok well if you are using Brennan’s play/stats to judge his talent you have to do the damage with Nuss, who played horribly in his opportunities. Passed on a pretty big opportunity where a WR put up a pretty similar performance as Nuss’ start.
I don’t think he is or will be horrible, but let’s try and stay consistent

This reminds me of 2020 when everyone was 100% sure that Max Johnson would be the started after Brennan got hurt.

We have a decent recent history of coach’s kids at the qb position.

He had the best spring game, but not by far.

I think most reasonable people look at Nuss and see that he has a much higher ceiling than MB and JD. Nuss can make every throw on the field from every arm angle, and he can put the ball in places that MB and JD can't. He's also very mobile and very good at evading defenders. His dad is the qb coach for the Dallas Cowboys, and he's got an incredible football iq. All of his teammates speak very highly of him, he's extremely passionate, and he exudes confidence. It appears that with his skill set, he's the best guy to run Denbrock's offense. He has spent more time with the receivers than the other 2 guys, and he seems to be the guy that the team is rallying around

Daniels took 1st team reps with Nuss out today.
Brennan exclusively with 2nd team.
She’s Dixon & Brodie Miller both reporting.
Some people need it stamped on their forehead.

Can’t wait for Daniels to house one on a read-option.

Have the posters that think Nuss is awful because of one pass vs Arkansas as a true freshman who had just been on campus for less than a year therefore that’s how he will play the rest of his career at LSU responded yet?

I don't think so, I think they're all still busy screaming "Myles had 1700 yards and 13 td's" from the mountain tops
