Did Les tell LF's dad that he wouldn't run his son a bunch so he would be fresher for the NFL?

First post, first reply? Post less. Probably.

fricking stupid if true. I understand not running him into the dirt but if he needs to be in the game to win then put him in the fricking game

Doubt it there are years left before the NFL. Plenty of time to rest. Miles gave the older guys a chance to been seen again.

Yeah, I was reading here that supposedly les promised fewer carries to LF and his dad. That just seems odd

Yeah Chubb had 33 the other day and a good output. Would be incredible to see what fournette could do with that. But also not worth working him that hard thoughout the course of the season.

LF7 should totally get at least 15 -20 touches every game unless we go up 3 touchdowns against a cupcake early

Interesting. It's the last game of the season... Lots of time to rest afterwards

I know Hill carried the ball a lot last season, or at least it seemed like he did, but lsu has always ran multi RBs. Not always sticking with the hot hand though.

Worst example was Charles Scott at Kentucky in 2007.

It would seem they would want as many carries as possible.

There is much of what Leslie Miles does that makes no sense on its face or anywhere else for that matter.

BeeFense was saying something yesterday about Trent Richardson being run into the ground. That LF didn't want they to happen to him. But I think y'all don't have much respect for BeeFense.

LSU only had the ball for 23:00 and three one-play scoring drives. Should he have gotten 4-5 more carries? Probably. But it's not like he lost carries in favor of the passing game. LSU only threw it 14 times. The jet sweeps were gaining yards and LF came up a little gimpy late causing Hillard to take some of those carries. It's not like LSU had the opportunity to give him the 10-20 more carries all these idiots are calling for

That's the reason we lost to kentucky along with tyson jackson's personal foul penalty.

mother effin beast. The fact that he got 3 touches in the final 21 minutes should have Miles looking for a job RIGHT NOW!

He should have taken a knee on the 50 on the 90 yd run and 100yd return. That way he could have logged a few more carries on those drives. Probably at least 10 total. That would have put him over 20 carries.

So if I'm tracking, we need a QB to throw for 250 yards a game and LF to get 30 carries.
