Someone mentioned in a thread last night that Baker was forced on Lane? Is that true? Where did this info come from?

It came from idiots. Lane took all stops to keep Baker on staff. He knows he is the best DC there is. We have a personal problem. Not a coaching problem.

Personnel problem, but I understand your point.

Yea sorry a message board poster can’t see what actual coaches see. He is known as one of the best DC in the country. Period.

People who point out grammar mistakes or auto correct mistakes are 99% wrong on the issues they are discussing. Thats a fact.

Well given that we shut down OM in the second half but they went roughshod in the first half and additionally have given up 292 yards and 24 points in the last opponent offensive drives to end the 4 halves in our two losses I’d say we have a coaching problem too.

You do realize that other teams make adjustments too?

Nitpicking is the best as you have no facts to prove your false theories.

I'm honestly confused by this. We have dudes on defense. You're implying our players aren't championship quality? Maybe that they're just young?

I know we've got a lot out on injury, but we shouldn't have fallen apart in the final minutes of the game.

You got me! You win the argument that means nothing in this! If you don’t think he is one of the best if not the best, you know nothing about football.

292 yards 24 points on the critical drives.

That’s a coaching problem.

He’s making $4 million. He owns that.

Additionally he has been here for 3 years with essentially free rein on his side of the ball. The personnel is his choice.

We have a depth problem. We have a ton of guys who never played together before. Do you not remember how many transfer guys came over? Then you are asking the stars to run a different scheme than they ran for years. So yea. Personnel becomes a huge part in what we can call on d.

Why do you think Leavitt and the WR are off on some plays. It’s like that but on d.

Yeah, that makes sense. As much as I'm frustrated by the loss last night, I'm not ready to move on from Baker. I'm just shocked at how much of a drop off there is from our D when healthy to our second string crew

First play from scrimmage for their offense was a 77 yard run. That was a heck of an adjustment.

So now you want Blake to actually play LB? I don’t think he has eligibility left. Two guys were out of position in that run. But hey, don’t let facts cloud your judgement.

People use the word facts incorrectly too often.
