Jesuit High School has graduated more than its fair share of “movers and shakers”. Even a few celebrities. And then there’s 175 years of tradition, a huge number of championships in many sports, a connectedness over generations of alumni, and unparalleled academics. No other school can match having over 11% of Louisiana’s National Merit Finalists.
In addition, tuition at under $10K is nearly the lowest in New Orleans private schools. No qualified boy has ever been turned away because of his parents’ inability to pay.
The Mannings can have Newman.
Just sayin’…
Without question the school on Carrolton and Banks has no peer in the deep south.
Believe it or not several Saints folks sent their kids to JC...
Pretty sure one key saints assts kids went to J.
randy livingston and odell beckham are celebrities?
country day drew some families because of the laid back atmosphere.
st martin's and dunham are very different.
some shy away from J because, well they don't cut any slack on rules from grooming to off campus and grades....

Uhigh
These given the proximity to campus and the likely houses the coaches will inhabit

Probably Aloysius being the one for the coaches given its proximity to campus.
I would agree

The best school in BR is easily Episcopal. The one’s the coaches lean towards are Dunham and Uhigh.

With the private schools and UHigh (not named St. Michael's, sorry St. Michael's, I don't know much about your academic prowess to lump you in with the top elite schools in the city same with Parkview), you can really pick and choose, I do know Episcopal's expensive AF no doubt

I haven't seen any "best schools" rankings recently, but in the past U-High was sometimes listed as high as the top school for the entire state, not just the city. I have never seen Episcopal listed anywhere near that high, but like I said I have not seen any recent rankings, so maybe they moved up over the last few years.

U-High and Catholic High are the primary ones by far. I don't think that many have gone to Dunham.
I can't think of any coaches at all who have sent their kids to Episcopal. Even Coach Flory, who was an Episcopal grad, sent her daughter to play at U-High.

Both schools I presume are a bit far away from the coaches' houses which I also presume are located pretty close to campus on good property so makes sense why they don't send them there

jesuit had probably 10 times as many people in law school at LSU in 90s than any other private school and they all made it through for what’s it worth. it’s obviously a good school
