Don't worry. I heard the Tiger's front office is working on a trade to acquire Brantley from the Gators. I heard they are willing to give up Mike Ford, Josh Jasper, and a 4-star Louisiana recruit to be named later.

I'll never rip on a kid who suits up in P&G, works hard and keeps his nose clean, but the fact is neither Lee nor Jefferson will rank among the top three SEC QBs in 2010. I'm betting our starting QB, whether Jefferson or Lee, will statistically rank no higher than fourth in the SEC this season. That's just where we are at the moment at QB, we can't rely on either of these guys to take over a game and win. Our entire offense is gonna have to be phenomenal for us to win the SEC West.

With these QBs, all we offer is vanilla. So what you saw today is the LSU offense. Take that to the bank.

Its vanilla for a reason. Jefferson nor Lee are a Flynn.

this, and that

I agree, neither Lee or Jefferson are at the point where they can take over games consistently. LSU isn't going to have the top 1 or 2 QB in the SEC every year. So many factors that are honestly uncontrollable. Jefferson looks good on some plays and bad on others. Lee was more consistent today, that's for sure.

Some of you people that keep saying Jefferson is stupid need to give it a rest. Yall would look a lot smarter if you made an intelligent constructive comment.

One thing that people must remember is the line was split up for the scrimmage. Both quarterbacks were hurried. The wide out had several drops. But in all honesty, Lee looked to be more poised and accurate. Some of Lee's incompletions were throw aways to avoid sacks. The running game was vastly improved. But again the defense was not at full strength. There is always room for improvement and in certain positions the room is mind boggling. Call me what you want but this is the best spring game that I have seen in 3 years.

Anyone know when Zach Lee will be ready to suit up???

JL looked pretty solid today after the pick 6 and he was actually going through his progressions rather than staring down the #1 WR. JJ looks like he doesn't even care...same old thing.

Hopefully the running game is THAT good and the defense isn't THAT bad.

I agree, with JJ at QB we will never have a big pass play b/c the dude is the most inaccurate deep ball passer i've ever seen. The sad part is that we have some potential All American WR's.

It was a practice, retard. Get a fricking life to live and maybe that way you will not need a practice to make your weekend.

A practice with paid officials, working clock, paid attendance, an ESPN crew, national TV exposure, and a statline listing it as the Spring GAME.

But thanks for playing the "practice" card

It's called the spring game, not practice.

Poor head coaching, poor QB recruiting, and horrible QB development by the OC.

AT BEST - the QB play was terrible AGAIN. Sat on the 35 about 15 rows up. Amazing how there was no clue what was going on out there on the field and no presence.
TERRIBLE. Simply Awful and it looks WORSE up close and right in front of you.

If it was a game, what other team did we play?

It was a scrimmage in which one team was divided in half so they could practice game type situations.

How many games you been to where the coach is on the field tellings refs what to call and players are posing for pictures on the sidelines and giving interviews to reporters?

Some of you guys are really clueless and should learn to STFU.

Some of you have mentioned Garrett. To me, Miles blew a great opportunity to get a good look at him. He only got one series--he played more in last year's spring game! To me, neither JL nor JJ has shown enough to feel good about the QB situation. Garrett needs more snaps!

Never going to see the field this year unless injuiries. He could play like Drew Brees all preseason and never see the field. Miles not going to play a young QB unless he has no other choice. He will go down with JJ the next 2 seasons.
JJ is our best shot - like it or not. Let's support him
