Is anyone truly optimistic? That was a complete clusterfrick. The playcalling is worse than last year, ZERO qb improvement.

We are looking at 8-4 to 9-3 at best once again.

the only one who truly stood out today like a sore thumb was Michael Ford. Dude is gonna be a monster of a running back.

Looked very good:
Russell Shepard
Stevan Ridley
Barkevious Mingo

Looked good:
Craig Loston
Kevin Minter
Pat Peterson
Sam Montgomery
O-line

While not giving Crowton a pass, I don't think Jefferson's brain works fast enough.

How long will you positigers sit and wait for jj to be the guy. How many excuses? Jj is not the answer and never will be. Lee is not the guy either. I really can't understand how the qb situation got this bad.

I don't know what the hell ya'll were expecting to see today. It was a scrimmage. There was no game plan, there was nothing but basic plays. Jefferson did look awful, but there were at least three drops too. I thought Lee looked a lot better than JJ. Both RBs looked good, especially at the beginning of the scrimmage. White team O-line was solid.

On defense, Mingo, Montgomery, and Mingo stood out to me. I agree with the commentators that we need some inside beef on the d-line, but I think the only team that will come into play against is Bama. We will be as fast as any team in the country this year.

Well, to be fair, I dont think either quarterback regressed. They both looked about the same as they did last year.

My point is that 2 weeks of practice is not going to develop the progression in either of the quarterbacks that we all hope to see.

It was more a retorical question,I don't want to witness another disaster this year.

I think it's a little late for that.

JJ is just NOT thqt good. He was as good as he ever will be last year. He is not a SEC starter and this staff better pull him before summer to get the team ovet the shock. He will not be the starter for us all year.

It is simply a matter of him not being able to grow any further as a true qb. He just sits there holding the ball and is NOT accurate.

I am neither a positiger nor negatiger; I am a realist. If anyone was expecting to see any of our qb's step out there today and look markedly better than they did 2 months ago, you might be expecting a little much.

Hopefully all of our qb's can work hard during the summer and progress in the fall to the point where they are not a liability on offense.

JJ looked awful today, no doubt. But let's not put too much stock into today's scrimmage.

Your right, nobody should worry that the 112th ranked offense last year looks no better this year with the same exact play calls, and incompetent coaches running it.

JJ looked like JJ. At some point people are going to realize it isn't the talent, its the coaching. These guys can't read a D and the offense is extremely vanilla and plain.

No matter who you put at QB in this system they are gonna get "broken." I think Les Miles has a "want" to make certain things work regardless if they will or not. The QB's are not seeing the "whole picture" but are seeng the play as a series of steps and when one breaks down they are clueless.

One thing is clear after the scrimmage er spring game, we still don't have an SEC caliber QB.

You expected anything but vanilla in the spring game?? Our rushing offense looked a lot better than last year. Sorry you are so disappointed. Maybe it would have been better if the game wasn't televised.

Sorry, but heard that all last year. Crowton will open the playbook against (insert opponent here). With these QBs, all we offer is vanilla. So what you saw today is the LSU offense. Take that to the bank.

Its vanilla for a reason. Jefferson nor Lee are a Flynn.
