Q4 v. MS St. - McCarron looked 'loopy' to me after taking a hit...

His last series. Comes to the sideline, cameras give a close up of him talking to a coach. He was clearly dizzy/dazed. Bama went to backups next series. Didn't see AJ on camera again.
No news of any head injury that I can find. Anyone else see what I saw ?

Didn't hear of the back issue. I doubt that had anything to do with what I was seeing. He was visibly dizzy... eyes wandering, head swaying... looked like he was half drunk.

Did it make him less of a douche bag? How hard does he need to be hit for that to happen?

On his last play, he got drove to the ground and landed on his throwing shoulder. They took him to the locker room and said it was a "bruised back." He didn't come back in the game because they were winning big already and didn't need to.

AJ has been nothing but classy since he has been at Alabama. Don't know where this "douchebag" title that he has been given comes from. Sure, he has an awful tat, but a lot of people make stupid decisions in high school.

Going into the State game McCarron was sacked more times this year than he had been all of last.
I hope we can hit him, though I really expect Saban to do exactly like he did in the BCSNCG which is hitting us with quick short passes. Hopefully we learned our lesson and how to defend that in the bye week.
