of conceding the game. Why would you put that guy in when it's tied? He's just not good.

I've been a McCune supporter this entire season. I'm finally seeing, that he is just not throwing well right now. On the other hand Broussard did very well today.

Berry was mistake #2. At one point I was convinced winning was of no concern today to Paul.

Meh I won't go so far as to say he isn't good. After moving to the bullpen he started really pitching well. He's given up a run in 3 of his last 4 appearances though, so whatever he had improved upon in the pen has apparently come back to hurt him

Eades hasn't looked like himself as of late. Last week's outing was okay, but something seems to be off with him

Berry isn't one of our better relievers. Didn't see the logic in bringing him in

No he's always sucked.

Eades is a different story but mccune has no plus pitches. None. Sorry to have to say that.

Has absolutely no movement on a mid 80's fastball.Would have rather see Bonvillian face the righty.

Cune definitely isn't the caliber of Gausman or Eades, but he was really effective last year with his pitch location. He doesn't suck IMO, I mean he was frosh all american last year. Hasn't been as good this year obviously, but has still done some good things out of the pen

Hope he bounces back from this recent stretch

Berry pitched well his last 2 outings in midweek. Guess PM thought it would be ok to bring him in during a crucial moment in a game.

Tomorrow we have Cotton, Rumbelow, Bourgeois, Goody. So if we can get 5 innings out of Nola we will be in good shape.

I thought the same, and have always been really high on McCune. Maybe he is just going through a sophomore slump.

I knew because of Friday night we needed eades to go deep, but it was obvious that wasn't happening. Mccune coming in seemed like a white flag. How was he ever our ace?

Honestly I think we get 4 innings out of him and about 2 earned runs. He gives us a chance to win. We can get 2 innings out of JB and Cotton if need be.

With this week being a long week, don't be surprised if we see Cotton and JB get at least 2 innings each if they are effective. No midweek game means longer rest.

It was more to say how bad he sucks now vs. an actual question but thanks for the great answer

I said this in the in-game thread... an hour before the game started (in fact... it was in my OP)... others said no... and 1 of the names thrown out to say we were ok if he didn't... was McCune's

batting order is a problem... and this team is pretty bad on defense!

Very insightful we all know this team needs good to great pitching to win. I think Nola gives a solid 5 and i agree with Bourgeois and Goody FTW tomorrow.
