I agree. What’s interesting is with all the moronic criticism of DVH for his players shitting the bed, this was the one situation where I thought he clearly got used by Jay. I didn’t understand walking Pearson to get to Stanfield when I was positive Jake would PH for him. I don’t think Arkie/DVH realized Jay would PH in that spot, which is a poor job of scouting on their part. Loading the bases puts the pitcher in a tough spot, much more so than facing Josh with a base open.

Absolutely. I think people very lazily put blame on Van Horn all the time, including this game. But that particular instance you just mentioned seems like a brain fart on the part of that coaching staff.

It worked out of course but let's be honest and not overplay. It was a no brainer move you you make 100% of the time there unless you have nobody else that can play centerfield. We do so it was quite an easy decision and one almost all coaches would have made. Jay has proven that he is a great coach bit that was a checkers move.

I was so hurt by it that I just realized, two days later, that you responded to my comment. Clearly, I must have been thinking about it a lot.

I don't care about upvotes and downvotes, in and of themselves. I simply would like to know why two people can make the same point, and people agree with one person, but not the other. It has nothing to do with my feelings. I wouldn't post on here if I couldn't handle disagreement. But this particular phenomenon that I described, is one that consistently confounds me. And I don't just see it with my comments at times, but with other people, as well.

Is it alright with you if I wonder these things and point them out?

It’s alright with me that you don’t understand something that’s easily understandable. I hope you can get through this

What's understandable about it? There is literally nothing about it that makes sense, and you can't explain it. Don't bother replying to me with another one of your immature responses.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you don’t understand much about anything. I just really hope this isn’t one of those tough life situations that you can’t get through

It seems I understand a lot more than you do, judging by your inability to give an actual response. Grow up.

You are a miserable person. You know that right?

We had two stud pitchers go out and will us to victory, and you still think LSU was a flawless team. I'm super proud of this team. You can quote my comments, which were 100% accurate, and were also weeks ago before the team started to play better (kind of like that immensely flawed Ole Miss team did a few years ago, who also won a championship) all you want. I'm going to celebrate this victory.

You just keep being you, in the meantime. Nobody cares that you can't stop thinking about me and my opinions. I promise you, you never entered my mind at any point during or after any of these games.

I’ve never seen a team win on the backbone of fundamentals & fans still try and say they were not good fundamentally. Just a complete clown take on your part.
