I'm too happy to argue at this point.

He did. I was ready to pull Coleman after first two smoked him pretty hard. Even tho one was an out.
Stayed with him and he got it done

Not sure if it was completely intentional nor how much Oregons gut rumbles for lefty right matchups but possibly an Ace move starting the right only to bring in a lefty one inning later.

Great point. If indeed that was the strategy, it was brilliant.

That’s a pretty strong an educated response even for this place. So I guess you saw Coleman coming out and giving that kind of performance. Nobody is trying to discredit PM, but I’m sure even he himself when he sent Coleman out to the mound expected to get 6 innings from him. So yes he did save the squad in my opinion and allowed to have more fresh arms today.

I thought he pulled Vietmeire too early but it ended up working with Coleman
Fontenot still makes me real nervous

Granted, Oregon is better offensively than A&M, but Coleman was pretty sharp vs. the Aggies as well. Going with him was much more calculated than just rolling the dice.

If Edwards and Coleman had developed earlier in the season, we would've easily finished over .500 in conference. The future looks bright with these two.

Only because it worked

If Coleman had come out and laid an egg he’d be roasted to no end on here for pulling the starter after an easy first inning

Against bama too. He had been trending this way the last 3 sec series.
