Yes there is. A first year starter in the SEC with some new WR.
Same excuse I would give Jayden Daniels in his first year at LSU, and he had 28 more starts than Nussmeier before starting at LSU.
Is that fair?

Every QB misses some passes at times. Even NFL QBs. 8 career starts...
Start factoring in things like drops and PI penalties, and stop projecting your random thoughts, and you'll have more credibility.

Exactly, there’s nobody running free downfield and him just missing open guys like he’s suggesting.

Pimpton isn't developing like we wanted?
Posted on 10/22/24 at 3:05 pm to CP3LSU25
we play primarily 11
They are looking at Green as a true WR.
I was always a little skeptical of him as an inline blocker. Maybe he develops there physically but they probably see him farther along as a recover than Pimpton who is our clear #2 TE

I would never just call things I don’t agree with “random”. I’d actually have evidence to refute it.

I would say he isnt thus far. He is hardly ever on the field. He's taken 80 snaps in 6 games so far. A good chunk of those came at the end of some blowouts (UCLA, Ark, USA).
If you believed the talk pre-season about more TE use and Pimpton "coming around" I would expect to see more 2 TE looks and we almost never get that.

It’s disingenuous to say that not having a real speed threat is not affecting deep ball accuracy. There are clearly some guys who can out run any ball you throw up. We happened to have 2 of those last year. Does Nuss need to be better on the deep ball? Absolutely. Is he as bad as you’re trying to make him on the deep ball? No
No, you can overthrow Nabors and Thomas. We just had a QB who could put the ball in front of them the right amount.
He’s been pretty bad on deep throws. And part of is is we’re not getting great separation, but he also has overthrown a lot of guys.
We are in an 18 team tie for 50th in the country for 40+ yard passing plays. We are 104th in the country for 50+ passing yard plays and that’s a 21 way tie.

The "random" part was in reference to your thoughts on Madking's wife.

Sorry, I don’t talk ball with liars. Just check them when needed
Posted on 10/22/24 at 5:18 pm to Lester Earl
You didn’t check anyone, you got checked and cried like a baby as usual.

He’s going to be a nightmare matchup, in the future.

Asking a question is lying? Btw this new schtick of accusing everyone else of what you do really isn’t working.
Posted on 10/22/24 at 5:30 pm to Lester Earl
I don't know what "lie" you're referring to, but it seemed to be a legitimate point on perspective to me. I haven't seen you express perspective on Nussmeier being early in his development as a starter.
Also, you never expressed your opinion on the deep ball to Daniels in the end zone in the first quarter vs. the Razorbacks. That would be a good addition to the thread.

It’s understood any time I make a comment on him.
If you want to frame him as the inexperienced QB, you shouldn’t want to fight every constructive criticism thrown his way. But I understand that is hard for some people given preexisting biases.
It’s not a competition to me. I don’t need to mention he has only started 8 games. I know exactly who he is.
Posted on 10/22/24 at 6:07 pm to inadaze
So he’s being disingenuous, originally he stated that he was going to bash Nuss in retaliation to criticisms of JD5 but he caught a ton of heat for that pettiness so now he’s trying to rebrand as a “constructive and objective critic. He’s lying to you which is why he avoids all comparisons and uses nothing but double standards in his critiques.

You cant back up anything you say. Because all you do is lie
Posted on 10/22/24 at 6:40 pm to Lester Earl
Nope, wanna do a side by side with Nuss and our other QBs?
