App. St. plays at James Madison this weekend (big game for the FCS). When App. State coach Jerry Moore was asked whether the Mountaineers were prepared for the hostile environment of James Madison, Moore replied "Have you ever been to Baton Rouge? Those guys are hostile."

Maybe on a smaller scale but those regional rivalries can get way bloody even without all the pageantry.

Good luck App St

Since that came from a PAC10 fan...probably not THAT much difference.

Just curious: All the talking heads are talking about how terrible and inferior our competition has been so far. When did App St. go from giant killer, really good program that know one knows about, to grossly inferior?

I really wish they coulda got the full nighttime experience. I got a lot of respect for that program and feel they were shorted a truely great trip to Tiger Stadium.

I do have to say it was still pretty loud for it...

If LSU was hostile to the Apps, I wonder what he would say if he went to the LSU Bama game this year. I thought the LSU crowd was passive at worst at the app game.
