When the defense adjusts. It was obvious in the first few drives against Bama..

haven't you heard? the only time you should make adjustments is when you have more talent.

To be fair he hasn’t been good at pregame planning either.

The truth is just that Alabama is far more talented at every level than us, and we never had a chance no matter what Ensminger did. We have a team with a handful of pro talent. Alabama has pro talent at every position and their backup. You could feel it on every play. Just based on physical dominance every offensive play by Alabama felt like a potential home run, and every offensive play for LSU seemed like a struggle. It's like trying to play up a division.

I mean i think you are right to an extent but how could you tell he wan't making adjustment from the first couple of plays? He does probably follow the brian bellick philosophy of scripting plays on the first few drives and situations, and in that way you're right. I think though it would be really hard to tell if he is making adjustments or not. Generally speaking though you attack a defense and they make adjustments to what you are doing.Offenses really only make adjustment if the d gives you something (blitzes, extra man in the box, ect) or they have a weakness. If they can manhandle you without giving anything ie pressure with 4 man rush, stop run with 2 high safty ect there isnt anything to take advantage of and you are in some trouble as an offense. Don't get me wrong I want some energy in this program too and want some new blood but if you cant recognize the real problems then you cant fix them.

No doubt Bama has more talent but I guarantee you an OC worth a shite would have had LSU in the game at least.

Tell me all you football coaching wonders. How do you make adjustments when on running plays your O line is getting pushed into the backfield and on passing plays your QB is scrambling for his life?

Tell me what is the adjustment? Block harder? LSU tried max protection, powers, ISOs, counters, screens, etc. nothing worked.

Quit bitching. Ensminger knows more about football than all you morons put together. You don't coach the game for almost 40 years and not know what you are doing.

This is the end of Miles' tenure all over except now we dont even have a dominant run game. Its took 2.5 years to go from 3 all sec olinemen that led the country in yards before contact and being 3rd in the country in rushing yards per play to being 83rd in rushing yards per attempt.

Successful ones? Name them. To be honest, the only adjustments I saw him make this year was when he burned through his script of 15 at Florida(which were successful) and then decided to start trying to set up the pass with the run, which was very unsuccessful

Ask your dad why he put burrow under center and ran a playaction pass play from his own 8 yard line when the line wasnt blocking for shite

You dont call long developing plays like the dumb one above. Also, there are dozens of programs with less oline talent than us and they field competent offenses.
Also, stop acting like this is just a Bama game thing. You get to week 10 and have one of the worst offenses in cfb by just having a bad bama game.

Well I would hope he does know more but that constant play action with negative yards rushing makes one wonder.

I realize he’s forgotten more football than I know but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that he’s a dinosaur in terms of creativity and being able to run a creative offense. This just isn’t about the Bama game, the offense is bad just about every week no matter who the opponent.
