Prime is a Good Prime promoter, he will bring recognition and fanfare to Colorado, he will win some but he will not make them a contender, he is too worried about outside perception of himself and this is the top of the ladder of his coaching potential.

Happy for Corey getting a promotion. For those of you bashing him, it’s a promotion to a director position on staff at a D1. At this level these guys need to get as much experience under different coaches as possible to build up their resume and hope to be an on the field coach some day. Don’t fault him at all.
And give Prime some credit. He has made some really good hires so far.

But the AD, in typical public government fashion, says we have no money but don't worry about it ...

I listened to Prime’s welcome speech to the Colorado team and it was real cringey. All about himself and how he’s going to cut most of the players. It was weird. He said “I’m coming” about 100 times.
You mean this guy is all about himself?

Whatsoever lmfao. Dudes lack logic

Saban facade…? Alabama had much more talent? LSU had nearly as much talent as Alabama during that stretch. Dudes really just spew.

I'm happy for the guy getting a promotion but at the same time there are legit red flags at Colorado before we even get to coach prime.

I’m not a big fan of sanders but happy for Phillips moving up
Guys like sanders attract others like him so he is going to be stuck with selfish players who will jump at the first sign of weakness.
Football is a sport that requires players to commit to each other to get a positive outcome. Sure, there’ll always be some selfishness but generally, the best teams have guys that commit to each other. Deion doesn’t inspire that mindset.
We also don’t know how he will do when he needs a qb. Right now, he has his son but the clock is ticking on that and he’ll need to recruit someone against other teams. That’s when it gets real.

It’s all about neon Deon, prime time! He could care less. All bravado!

Can we put Pollian in this position and hire a special teams coach?

Sooooo easy to see he won at JS because he could out recruit everyone else based on name rec.
Going to be much harder to get kids to boulder when you're going up against USC, UCLA, Oregon etc.
He wouldve been better off going to a g5 school in the south
