Cody Worsham tweeted:
Robert Griffin won 2011. Baylor went 10-3
Lamar Jackson won 2016. Louisville went 9-4
Caleb Williams won 2022. USC went 11-3
Can we stop with this narrative that LSU has too many losses?

RG III and Williams 3rd loss came after the Heisman was awarded in bowl games. Lamar had 3 losses when he won it and then a bowl loss.

Notre Dame went 2-8 the year Paul Hounung won it.

I think LSU has too many losses as a matter of record, but who thinks that would foreclose JD's chances to win the Heisman?

Big key those seasons was the undefeated teams not having QBs putting up insane numbers. Penix at Washington might have the numbers. It might come down to who has the Heisman moment on Rivalry weekend.
