Damn, UAB sounds extremely tough even if we do have them at home. We will have to play our best game since St. Joseph's to beat them. Keep everyone out of foul trouble and win rebounds against a good rebounding team? Quite a challenge. Free throws might be critical so we will have to do much better on those also.

I can see them wearing us out on the boards Tom. We really have to give up some break opportunities to pack in and block out.
One good thing as SOS pointed out is they are I think he said dead last in forcing turnovers in the country. Maybe that can keep us from the long offensive lulls we've been prone to all year.

Been looking forward to this game for a while. Crowd at the PMAC today hoping for more than 5,500. Too optimistic?

I'm not so sure they'll be a key to the game. We don't do a great job of getting to the foul line, and they don't foul much. Of course, it's always good to hit free-throws
I'm hoping for a team effort on the boards this afternoon. I don't think we'll win the boards the majority of the time, but I'd like to see us box out & make UAB work for it. I'm interested in the PG match-up too. Gonna be a good game!

If it is a close game in the last couple of minutes it always comes down to free throws. I agree it is not the number you shoot but the time of the game and the situaion you are in.

Energy will be there, you can bet on that. That's what I love about Coach Jones. The boys are literally always ready to go, win or lose. But make no mistakes, they are VERY good. Still waiting for our coming out party.
