People can still disagree with OP about certain topics but some people take it overboard and only post negativity.

Well one of the problems that gets overlooked is that we have a whole lot of people who don't normally watch LSU basketball or basketball in general who comment a lot of negativity. The Ben Simmons effect lol

Exactly, I know I have given people hell (you included LSU1SLU) in the past for being critical on things that were valid points but the fact that admins allow this guy to openly bash the program and THE PLAYERS (go look at his post history) just shows how spineless the admins are when it comes to basketball around here.

South quit doing previews because of the negativity on this site about basketball, I'm afraid we are headed down the same path with LSUButt if they allow people like bfnwhatshisnuttsiii to continue bashing LSUButt, the program and THE PLAYERS.

If the admins don't have the balls to put a stop to bfnwhatshisnuttsiii then people like LSUButt and South won't do previews anymore. I bet it takes hours for Butt and South to put those previews together. Who else would want to invest that time and be shite on like South and Butt have been?

The bullshite thing is that TigerDroppings makes money on these previews because there are people who come to this site to read a preview on the game when they could easily go somewhere else like the Advocate. (FYI - Randy Rosetta is great when it comes to basketball.) So in a way LSUButt and South make money for this website by the clicks that they generate and all they get in return is shite from piece of shite posters like bfnwhatshisnuttsiii who bash the coach, program and THE PLAYERS. It would be an absolutely cowardly act if the admins of this site don't at the very least remove the negative posts by bfnwhathisnuttsiii for the sake of this thread. If he wants to make his own thread that is fine.

I know he took a break after a few games into the season, but I'm not sure why. Possibly because of all the negativity. Butt has taken over the previews lately, and has done an excellent job.

I started doing previews and recaps because the basketball team was very under covered. There wasn't a big media presence and there wasn't enough content to keep people interested.

I was able to do a lot of writeups because I was very slow at work. I am currently working 50-60 hours a week with very little break time, leaving me with not nearly enough time to do recaps at the quality I felt was necessary.

I was very appreciative when Butt stepped in and kept everyone on here up to date on when LSU is playing.

It was in no way due to negativity... I've done previews for 5 or 6 years now I think, and that includes some years where LSU was awful. It's mostly due to my schedule being way too busy and there honestly being information out there on LSU if you want to find it.







I'll still be sitting in section 206 for all home games.

I think my expectations were way too high for this club going into the season. Critical error I made was thinking Simmons was going to be a Pistol Pete type highlight reel every game. I had no idea the young man has a lot to work on and he's just not a scorer. His game obviously fits more to the NBA. LSU's inconsistency is brutal but it it what it is. I know CJJ is a good man, dedicated to LSU, great recruiter, etc. However, with a talent laden roster, the same problems still seem to be there. No real offensive sets or flow and atrocious post defense with players looking lost. To be honest, and this is not a flame, making the NIT is my expectation at this point. I'm searching for anything positive. Hope they go on a run and finish strong.
