I'm just glad it's in the 70's up here on The Hill. Hopefully you guys will have great weather down on the bayou as well.
Just a terribly long winter here this year. Finally golf weather and good baseball weather.
Turkey season just around the corner as well

The only thing I would change, would be Arkansas has a better win than Nebraska. Before the two game set this week, UNLV was a top 10 RPI club(according to Warren Nolan) and Arkansas split 1-1 Tues/Wed of this week. Lost 10-7 and won 9-2.
you're right. I actually put that part of the preview together on Monday night and forgot to update it. same goes for the record vs RPI. I'll update both.
also, I'm aware of their recent offensive output. that seems to big topic of discussion up there, as it would be in BR if it ever happens to us

thanks for reading and providing your thoughts

I think the biggest difference was Van Horn totally changed up the batting order prior to game 2 of South Carolina. It really seemed to click. 15 hits the last two games of the series and 11 runs(I miss old bats).
In 4 games with the reorganized line up, Arkansas has scored 27 runs on 34 hits.
We'll see how that shuffling works this weekend.

Didn't know he switched it up like that. Good info. We tried it too. Got swept by Florida.

The funny thing about that is that Spoon hasn't even been that productive at the top aside from one 2 hit game. Baseball is just a funny game. If it works it works. If they come out against Nola and do the same, you know you'll have something going.

Florida has a good club. They've just been terribly inconsistent this year. Very high RPI but gave up 36 runs to UK last weekend, then shut out Florida State this week.

I also think we are on pace to break the schools hbp record....it's around 61 right now, I think.
Ouch?

how many of those actually missed the batters elbow but he cried about it anyway?

3 that I know of.
We still haven't played Ole Miss as of yet. So, to be continued.....
Our new hitting coach seems to be high on crowding the plate. While he was at TCU, they had a high obp

Personally very excited about seeing the Baseball Tigers in action for the first time this year.
