So basically Sankey said “SEC rules say that you have to follow NCAA official rules” and then they caught him on cross examination because the official rules don’t say anything about excluding the 2022 class from 5-5.


Right, if you were getting paid 4.8 million dollars a year, don't you think that you would MAYBE be insanely familiar with each and every nuance of the rule that you know is going to be hammered at a court hearing, in every iteration? I think that would be the bare minimum expectation

Technically, they sued before the court order.

The ncaa changed the rules late in the game to give these players another year of eligibility not LSU.
Horrible to go after the wrong entity. SEC looks as bad as the ncaa.
