I partly think F King and Alleva were dumb enough to think that if they suspended Wade the media outrage would calm down. Well, now they've infuriated most of their fanbase. It is ridiculous that they made their meeting so public and exactly WHY they suspended Wade...but I think all parties involved will meet tomorrow and Wade will be reinstated by tomorrow night.

As of now, as Solo Cam posted in another thread, our administration made a knee-jerk reaction to a sports article. Say what you want about why the situation got to this point, but this is 100% because of a Yahoo Sports article...that's it. We are not under NCAA investigation, Will Wade is not under FBI investigation.

The fan support, the realization they may have made a quick reaction, and extra time to discuss all matters are why I think he will be reinstated.

I ask you Tiger Rant, what do you think will happen?

Here’s my take. He’s suspended tonight, and the sec tournament. He gets reinstated for the big dance. Sean Miller was suspended last year for a couple games under the same kind of situation somewhat. I can’t beleive we suspended him, I hope it’s just before we are in ride or die mode.

Sadly, I think he's gone for good.

His suspension will be lifted when they feel a safe resolution is met, not because of pressure from the fan base. Maybe it’s a game, maybe it’s never

Yeah, the more this moves on the more I think he'll coach again at LSU barring some major revelation of actual evidence of cheating

Sure, great idea! He'll be lobbying for the death penalty.

He won’t coach at LSU again and next season our only returning player will be Marshall Graves.

His statement yesterday seems to indicate that he won't have contact with the team until late April at the earliest.

I hope I'm wrong.

FTR, I don't think he should be fired no matter how this turns out.

The only way I would not be infuriated with him leaving LSU is if he's issued a show cause.

How is Miller still coaching?

Why can we not take Arizona’s approach.

I hope they are basically hiding him from the media during the sec tourney and bring him back for the dance. Basically they get away from Kentucky and Tennessee.

What a ridiculous statement. Some of you people amaze me everyday at what you think/say.

Earlier information from BOS said he was suspended for refusing to meet with Alleve and King to discuss the situation. I don’t see how he can be reinstated until that meeting happens. Wades lawyer told him he can’t go to that meeting. That’s either because of the pending trial next month or to protect his contract. Either way, I don’t see how he comes back in less than 1 month.

It depends on if Wade and Alleva are communicating behind the scenes and we don’t know about it. If LSU has told Wade that this suspension is just a formality and that he still has their full support, then I can see him staying on. If Alleva is preventing WW from seeing and/or speaking with the team and LSU is in full “circle the wagons” mode, then they plan to throw Wade under the bus. Why would he want to come back after that?

I don't think Wade necessarily thought he'd get suspended. That's why I think they are meeting ASAP. I have renewed hope

I’m with you on this. 1 game and reinstated before SEC tourney. Wishful thinking at least. I’m sick to stomach right now.

Well....what if Wade really IS guilty of a lot of bad stuff, which is entirely possible? If he is guilty, then he deserves to be "thrown under the bus"

No Chance he Coaches this Seaon Again. If they went ahead an suspended right before biggest moments of season they arent letting him coach till after trial. Which could be either never, later, or not at all. I hate to say this but after seeing this play out I'm starting to cave snd have my doubts and do not have any faith that the guys in charge make tight decisions here
