Same as before: 9-4 including a bowl win.

well, lets review the schedule:
Sep. 5 at Washington - W
Sep. 12 Vanderbilt - W
Sep. 19 UL-Lafayette - W
Sep. 26 at Mississippi State - W
Oct. 3 at Georgia - W (down year)
Oct. 10 Florida - L (will be a close game at home)
Oct. 24 Auburn - W (could lose this one if we beat UF the week prior and have a classic Miles let down)
Oct. 31 Tulane - W
Nov. 07 at Alabama - W (I think we'll be better all around)
Nov. 14 Louisiana Tech - W
Nov. 21 at Ole Miss - W ('08 was an aboration..people will take them seriously this year)
Nov. 28 Arkansas - W
Should be 11-1 or 10-2 regular season if the team just plays consistently ..maybe 9-3 if you factor in an upset somewhere??
If we go to Atlanta you can probably factor in another loss ..so 11-2, 10-3 or 9-4
If we go to a bowl our track record has shown we'll stack up well against other conference teams, so penciling in a W is reasonable
End result:
12-2, 11-3 or 10-4 are all reasonable if we make the SECCG
12-1, 11-2, or 10-3 are all reasonable if we don't (Bama has a cake schedule and could easily go undefeated by gettimg up for just one or two games this year, thus getting to Atlanta over us)
My guess: 11-3 with losses to Florida twice, and either Bama or some unforeseen upset like Arky or Miss St. (both of those games fall on the schedule before of after "big" games)

Florida will not make it to the title game.

I doubt that ole piss and Florida are the teams we really need to worry about next year

Maybe so. Still would be surprised that a team talented enough to beat the defending NC (who return almost everyone), and Bama, Ole Miss, and UGA on the road would drop one at home to Auburn.

i don't think it's fair to hate on someone's personal prediction
if you asked me this same question last year, and i said "8-4 with losses to Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss and Arkansas," few people would have found that credible.
same thing, if you asked me the same question two years ago and i said "12-2 with losses to Arkansas and Kentucky and a NC berth."
i think people need to appreciate more creative answers to questions like this, instead of just agreeing with the most obvious predictions.
teams never finish with wins and losses against who you expect.

"Do they have anyone that can actually throw the ball to them??? Last year, we had a ton of talent at WR, but we had a QB that was too busy playing catch and run with the other team's secondary. QB play is HUGE in the SEC. I do agree that we beat UF in a close night game at home, but I really think we head to Athens and beat UGAly."
Joe Cox i believe is a senior kind of the similiar situation matt flynn was in (now am i in no way saying cox is equivilant to flynn) just same position...been in the system sat behind a great college qb.... but cox has some sec experience he is not the same as j.lee at all! Lee was a freshman with no experience.....UGA will be a force against us.... it will be a big test for a defense on the road in a hostile enviroment

2-3 losses. Hope I'm wrong.

The word on Joe Cox is:
1 5th year Sr (knows the system)
2 Very accurate (more than stafford)
3 Arm not as strong as Stafford
4 More of a leader than Stafford (according to teammates)
5 has started a few games for UGA
6 physically very strong (tebowe type)
I think with the returning O line (..and hopefully healthy). and the receiving corp, AJ Green, Marlon Brown and the resent pickup of Orson Charles, UGA will be stonger on O than people think.
The D is the question ..but all are returning and YES our DC is on the Hot seat!
UGA VS LSU should be a great game, but we start the season off with one hellva a game AT OSU!! but i think LSU will be much improved this year!

i think ole Nutts won't have same success as last year--though i could be wrong. Bama will determine our fait in the conference. We need to win the division at least. Hopefully VT trips up bama--but i don't think it'll happen. If ole miss is on up and up then maybe they'll beat Bama
